So, uberfish assumes the golden hammers were settled in Ithralia. Ilios probably knows they're settled in Mutanbo, since he saw the GE come out of there, while uberfish did not. Might be interesting to see uberfish propose that he take Ithralia and CV, and Ilios take the Yggdrasil city and Mutanbo, which would be a reasonably equal distribution of cities if the engineers were in Ithralia.

According to DaveV's code diving, Hyborem can spawn anywhere, except on a city or unit. The odds are slightly modified by cultural ownership, but there's no guarantee of anything.
Is it kosher to tell Uberfish this? He didn't ask...but it's clearly purely game mechanics, and I don't think it would change his play.

Another oversight by Uberfish: the gargoyles from Pristin Pass can't enter his borders, so he doesn't need to worry about defending against them (unless he puts together a strike force vs. Hyborem).

I stand corrected! Were they chasing workers, or did they come after your cities?

I've seen gargoyles entering borders as well, though the reasons why i'm not sure. Maybe it chased a worker or tried to get out of a cramped location. Never seen them attack a city, but they did wander around inside the borders for quite a time. Either way they're far less aggressive than normal barbs when it comes to assaults inside a players territory.

I can't help but feel Ilios is missing a trick here:
Why is he in Agrarianism and not Conquest?!?!??!?!
Sacrifice the weak and Conquest is one of the more broken combinations in the game! With an absolutle bucket load of food surplus everywhere it isn't really necessary to get the +1 from farms imo.
Conquest will give him something to do with his excess food instead of growing into unhappiness and whipping into more unhappiness. I predict a lot of unhappy faces in the Malakim empire over the next few turns!

On the other hand - don't forget that things are more expensive in FFH, too. He should have lots of 2- and 3- and 4-pop whips available, which only cause the 1 unhappiness and as long as he can't regrow that far in 6 turns, no lasting whip anger. As long as he's careful, he can still convert all his food surplus into hammers, and this way he has a greater food surplus to play with.
Plus, Slavery can be used for things that aren't military. He may be anticipating war with Sciz and the Calabim, but he still wants to build himself some infrastructure, I assume.
