Also... WK is going nukes, isn't he?
I'm a (very) late joiner in watching this game, but seeing that fantastic battle, I'm pretty sure I chose the right thread to lurk!
Well even when it revolts it's still on a hill, so I don't think that I'm going to be able to take the city back ever.
I think WK is going for Nukes. I thought they were banned but maybe they aren't? In that case, I don't see how WK is going to lose (if he was going to). When you have nukes and your opponent doesn't well.....

I doubt that city can revolt. It's size 1 and he's got a bunch of units in there. And uh, I assume city flipping after conquest is not enabled, sooo...

It can still revolt even with flipping after conquest disabled; it just doesn't flip. Happens to me all the time in my SP games
I suppose you're right that it may have enough units in there... Can you see the chances of flipping since you can investigate the city, rego?
Yeah, I guess it's still too hard to take even with a revolt; plus you won't get bonus GW GG points for hitting the city so there's less incentive to retake it, right?

Well
Apparently he got tired of occupying [strike]Iraq[/strike]Cumin, so he headed home
I retook the city but not much going on. At my crawl of a pace, I've got another 6 turns till Sci Method, should I choose to turn on science.
WK just finished the Manhattan Project

Do you think he'll turn back and raze it?

I really hope rego didn't recapture the city without enough force to hold it against a counterattack.
At least machine guns can't attack.

Yeah I thought about that but his stack has moved back towards his lands even further this past turn, so I guess he was sincere about retreat.
With WK loading up for nukes, it's not going to be pretty...

Excellent defending rego. I did try and help you eliminate that giant stack with some air support but I was too far away. I guess I might just owe you a stake dinner.
As for when I came and killed one of StM boats blockading you, that was only because it was also blockading some of my tiles, and I couldn't allow that.
