Can I get an overview shot of your lands, the city screens, and F5?
Thanks,

You overestimate me by talking of multiple cities...
A few turns yet

Plan:
Minimal defence and play like it is Beyond the Sword. Get expanding as soon as possible.
Capital finishes settler shortly. After this, a quick 2 turn warrior to go stand on the mirror of heaven, then worker, settler.
First settler heads north:
This is a blocker site between us and the Hippus. Get that elephant! The elephant is vital as it can easily defend a city single handedly. We have odds even with it being on a hill, wait for it to enter desert and that +25% defence males becomes -25%. Elephant can guard the third city which i'd propose to be the site west of our first expansion. This way they can share the food bonii.
We are currently teching Calendar. Civic swap when settler is en route to: nationhood and agrarian. Next techs are code of laws and then education. That should easily cover my abscence. If not, festivals after or see what Bob and Dave reccomend.
Southern lizardman is escorting the gorilla home. After that, i'd like to head south west into the desert as we saw a lion there before. We need a lion for the menagerie.
Griffon is to head east over the water
Avoid any barbarian units! However, his job is harassment. Act like a regular animal and other players wont know it's ours. We may need to spin a tale about our scout spotting someone but getting eaten to convince others. Perhaps we could be more obtuse? My personal favourite would be: We had a scout that explored a dungeon and was teleported to near you. Unfortunately, he was promptly eaten by a giant spider at the turn end
Try to be a total dick with this griffon. Popping any epic lairs/huts/dungeons are seen as a positive but be aware that if another player sees you doing this, they will know that the griffon is controlled by us. I don't care too much if they do find out though :neenernee

Oh, our worker is to farm the floodplains he is currently on and then head 1N to farm that one in preparation for the next city. Any questions at all, Bob and Dave are around or im here for tonight and *maybe* tommorow.

Checking back in! Your luck is insane (but backed by great playing!) =) Idk if you've already settled the prophet, but if you haven't bear in mind that the holy shrines in FFH all give different mana for free, and some of them (Esus, Veil, Empyrean) have really neat side benefits as well.

Don't know if Kyan forwarded the message or posted it to his lurker thread, but just in case you've got horses in your capital. Specifically in the northwest plains of the BFC.

So, I've been focussing on getting as good odds as I can get on that ele, and I figured the best way was to get it onto the desert. Not easy, but with some tile blocking and knowing that S8 ele won't attack I managed to do it:
Oh, wait, those odds aren't very good? Oh well, fuck it, Kyan made me:
Shit that was close.
Question now is where do I heal the lizard? Inside my culture seems smartest, but I'd quite like to know where the second city site is. Is it the northern city with 4fp, sheep and wheat and marble? Or is it the 4fp, 1fp mana, sheep with 3 ph on a ph? I think it's the latter. Which means the 0.2 lizard needs to go to that city tile to heal the fastest.
Now, over to the griffon...
Originally was 89 of current location, and I figured better pop the far ruins next turn, and retreat to the safety of peak/ocean, then go back for the original dungeon. Also...what is the different between ruins and dungeons? Also, you can just make out Yggdrasil 2E of the griffon. Tasty city sites over there...
