I'm still around, just have nothing sensible to contribute at the moment.

Turn 35:
I've been crazy busy so updates have been at a premium. My wife and I agreed to terms on a house today, so we go into escrow on Monday. Going to be busy as hell for the next 6-8 weeks. Plus I was out of town in LA for the weekend, so the turns have been moving somewhat slower.
In addition, Ranamar and I discovered that we live in the same town, and he wakes up and goes into work after me, but gets the morning save before me. Oops. For this reason, as long as we keep doing two turns per day, I am going to need one my DLs to play one turn per day for me. Recently, this has been Luddite because scooter has been cleaning up Darrell's PBEM20 mess and playing his Diplo game and Always Peace game.
Ballast Point has finished and we put a chop into an Obelisk already. Next turn the cows will be pastured, and the Obelisk will finish EOT 37. The city will grow EOT 37 as well, and we will probably start working a Priest. I might use the workers to chop into a granary which I can start slow building so the city can become really useful as soon as the fish is hooked up.
Stone is still working its five tiles and producing another worker to help out in the west. It is due EOT 36.
I moved the worker at Alpine to the city tile. Next turn it will move 1W to the forest, and finish a road on that tile to speed up founding city #4 by one turn. It will also speed up the worker from Stone getting there to help develop those cities.
Saving one turn of gold before rushing Monotheism. Hopefully we found Judaism EOT 39, maybe 40. Then we can use OR to help get granaries into cities and start slaving.
After Monotheism, I think probably Fishing, then the debate will be Iron Working to clear jungle off the gems and find iron (most likely) or Writing-->Math.

Still #1 in CY by a decent number and above the rival average in MFG. So far, so good. My GNP number I assume is artificially low due to a lack of culture. Given that I am FIN, the GNP number doesn't concern me at all. Once a religion founds, and I get a gems mine, I can start working a few river cottages to fund further expansion.

Turn 37:
We lost Judaism because Com founded both Hindu and Judaism. Umm, okay. WTF? Pretty pissed. Anyway, Fishing due EOT.
Speaking of which, met Com and agreed to 10 turn NAP so he doesn't mess with my settling.
Finished cow pasture and grow EOT at Ballast Point. Moved both workers to chop into a WB and then granary.
Worker finished at Stone, moving to west already and now a warrior finished EOT for MP purposes at capital.
Roading forest at Alpine, and settler finishes EOT.

Demos are still really nice.

Turn 38:
Four turns today to make up for ONLY playing one turn Friday and Saturday.
Saving cash to get Iron Working. Getting a gems mine and finding out where iron is at are definitely useful. I would hate to plant on iron.
Stone finished its MP warrior and started another worker, due in two turns.
Alpine finished its settler, and is building a three turn worker.
That will give six workers and four cities.
Ballast Point grew to size 2 and is now working a forest grass hill. Work boat due in 4 turns, but the workers are chopping, due in 3 turns. I will put the chops into a granary, and then finish the WB. Then the borders will expand the following turn, just in time to net the fish.
Settler in place to found Green Flash next turn. MP warrior already in place, just in case Com decides to break the NAP we agreed to.
I will have a worker ready to immediately farm the corn, and a second will join the second turn to get wet corn on the second turn of the city.

Demos:
I am now the MFG leader, and #2 in food. I will jump 5 food next turn, and 3 the following turn.

Looks like we might want to plant a second city midway across for the seafood.

2 East of the sheep would make a decent GP farm.

Turn 40:
Stone finished a worker who moves and cottage/cancels. Then he will join the Ballast Point chopper to road for TRs with the capital and towards copper. Stone starts a 4-turn settler.
Speaking of Ballast Point, one chop is in, which will finish work boat at EOT with 13 overflow into a granary, which will get another chop next turn. WB will be in place to net the fish when the borders pop in 3 turns. The other worker mine/cancel, and then will chop into granary next turn.
Green Flash was founded and the two workers at Alpine double farmed the wet corn to get it up in 2 turns. Green Flash will reach size 2 on turn 3 of its existence. Not bad. Workers will road next turn on the tile they stand on for future TRs, but more importantly, it won't delay finishing the sheep pasture, so it is a free road, since they can only move two tiles to the sheep, but if they stand on a road, they can move there and pasture on the same turn.
Still saving cash for Iron Working. It is going to be a slog. Need more cottages soon. The gems mines will really help.
The worker that finishes at Alpine EOT will begin connecting the western cities to the capital for TRs.

Turn 42:
Roaded the corn tile, then started pasturing sheep at Green Flash.
Roaded two tiles to hook up Ballast Point to the capital. Ready to start on copper mine next turn, and to chop into granary. Borders popped EOT, so fish are ready to be netted.
Roading back to the capital from Alpine with new worker, onto a granary.
Iron Working due in 3 more turns.

Turn 43:
Finished sheep pasture and swapped to a monument at Green Flash. Will probably slave it next turn to get border pop for gems.
Alpine finishes its granary EOT.
Ballast Point chopped its granary to finish EOT. Fish were netted. City grew EOT and will work copper mine immediately. Then gems will be the next priority.
Capital finishes settler EOT.
IW due in 3.
Demos:
Due to RL7's whipping, I took a pretty big food lead. Now that I have granaries in half my cities, I will probably start whipping soon myself. But most of my cities have 3-4 viable tiles, so I might be whipping 5-->3 or even 6-->4. For instance, Ballast Point grabs cow, fish, copper, and gems. I have to be working all those tiles every turn.
