Turn 44:
Settler finished at Stone. Building another settler.
Granary finished at Alpine, building an MP warrior.
Granary finished at Ballast Point, working the new copper mine. A grass mine is finished as well for when gems are hooked up.
Will whip a monument next turn at Green Flash with two chops aiming towards a granary.
Weird to say, but getting so many granaries up was probably a mistake. I should've just stayed at size 3 or 4 at most of these cities and slow built workers and settlers. That was working just fine.
Iron Working due end of next turn.
Scout found crabs down at the SW corner city. That is now a very solid city.
Demos:
Lack of whipping distorts the quality of my demos. With granaries starting to finish, some of that pop will be whipped off in the next 10 turns for sure.

You need to bitch more, your thread has become very methodical. You've become a better player but less fun read then say, back in the PBEM3 days.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

@Gaspar: Part of that is the fact that I had hoped to draw in a bunch of lurkers to talk to, and for the most part, everyone is too busy to comment much. I have tons of uber long chat logs with RL7, Commodore, and Luddite, but I don't post any of it. No one really wants to read it I figure. But if you want bitching . . .
The damn iron popped underneath Alpine. First you jungle my gems, forcing me to tech iron early, and then you place iron underneath a spot you had to know any sensible player would settle on long before researching IW, even if they grabbed IW too early.
And I am still grumpy about you basically putting RL7 and I humping each other's leg. We are doing our best to get along and so far so good, but I think you did this on purpose and you will not be able to convince me otherwise.
Turn 45:
Iron Working completed. And it pops right beneath Alpine.
Alpine grew to size 4, and I micro'd to the corn from Green Flash to make it grow to size 5 where I will probably whip a worker and overflow a settler.
Green Flash whipped a monument. It will get two chops in the next 2 turns to finish its granary. Once borders pop, grass gems will be hooked up ASAP.
Settler will found city #5 in two turns to hook up marble for RL7. They have agreed to work with me and play nice long term with future concession if I settle this city and trade them marble. They are also giving me a worker in about a dozen turns for free. I am probably being too nice, but I would rather go after Comm than mess with RL7.
Stone is still building a settler.
Ballast Point is going to be a disgustingly good city. It grew to size 4 EOT working a netted fish, grass cow, plains copper mine, grass mine, and will grow to size 5 in time to work a grass hill gems mine. Umm, yes please. I have a worker in place to finish the road on that tile so that I can bring the other two workers over to triple chop the jungle and mine. Then those workers can disperse to other locales. Likely to start cottaging throughout the empire.
I met MNG this turn. I told him I will play nice, but I will kill his warrior if he comes any closer without agreeing to an NAP.
I gave OBs to Comm to pass through.
Overview:
Demos:
Demos are a little skewed now. I have one pop in unhappiness to whip and I will need to re-micro to horse, so they should really be 60 food and 28 MFG.

Luddite and I were talking, and for comparison purposes, this is how badly I played PBEM11:
I had just founded my 3rd city two turns earlier and I wouldn't found my 4th city until TURN 60!

Maybe, but you had a fun "The Wire" naming scheme and goofy hijinks. You've spent too much time with Krill, I think. Cause luddite still seems pretty fun, so he's not the cause. Krill is fun in his own way, but the world only needs one Krill.
So make some stupid mistakes, overreact to some diplo and maybe post a demotivational poster or something. Jeez!
And yes for the record, I basically set up the map and looked at the players and said hmm, GES is playing. We've only interacted 3 or 4 times on RB before this game, so I'm totally going to give him the most annoying land, the toughest neighbor right up his bum and put all of his resources in unfortunate spots! That will show him.

"Being a game admin in a large scale RB Pitboss game changes you. The things you see, some of it you can never live down.
It invades my sleep and ruins every waking hour. The screaming, please god, make it stop! The horror . . . the horror . . ."
Seriously, though, you should've seen the 2 hour discussion I had with 7 trying to negotiate hooking up our marble for him. I am definitely way less fun.
So there is this to compensate for the drudgery of my thread:

And as for a de-motivational poster, being accusing of being like Krill, well:

Back to the drudgery.
TURN 47:
Two chops into the granary at Green Flash gives us a granary EOT. One worker is roading sheep, the other will start on the cottage. They will join and finish, and then head to the gems tile once the borders pop. City will whip a worker and overflow something for the settling stack that will push up on Comm's lands.
Alpine 2-pop whipped a worker, will overflow something. Not sure what yet, probably another worker.
Stone still building a settler. Then will grow to size 6 to work a river cottage.
Ballast Point has roaded and chopped the jungle on the gems mine. Mine will completely next turn. It just finished my first axe this turn. I will use the increased happy cap to try to start working an additional cottage pretty much everywhere.
I can finish Writing next turn. Capital will probably build a library.
Demos:
Still in the food lead despite whipping off 3 pop in the past 2 turns, but I don't think that is going to last. I think RL7 will blow by me in the next few turns because that marble city really was suboptimal.

So I'm one of those pathetic people who was supposed to be lurking and helping out in this game, and I've been markedly, um, absent thus far, having apparently committed myself to several too many games . I happened to be around for once this afternoon though, so GES asked me to play for him... So here we go.
TURN 48
Finished the Gems mine at Ballast Point, so we're able to swap to that:
This is a pretty kickin city at the moment, and is shaping up to be a monster on so many levels. Awesome. Alpine completed a worker with a lot of overflow, in fact, enough for:
Love it when that happens . That new worker is headed to help out at Lost Abbey:
Things looking good. Demo screen continues to look solid:
And that's it. Apparently this game has taken quite a rapid pace, as the last turn I played was T17, and this is T48.... And I definitely know it's been far less than 31 days since I last played a turn, so that's quite an impressive pace you guys have going.
As an aside, look at the tech bar. I turned tech up to 100%, and... are you kidding me??? It looks like we missed Writing by a single beaker. I could've made it happen but it would've meant not working the plains copper for a turn, and yeah, you just don't give up a 1/5/0 tile for a 1/0/3 tile unless your life depends on it . Especially since getting Writing 1T earlier doesn't really bring a large benefit, we'll have to wait one more turn for it to come in.
