Imagine trying to fight Keelyn under more normal circumstances.

Krill's right, but Tredje has been extremely cautious with his Sons. I expect him to take a few turns to feel things out first. I do NOT think Bob should flee with Gibbon.

Tredje made a HUGE strategic mistake by not getting regeneration with one of his Sons earlier. If Bob decides to attack with the skeleton and puppets he might be able to severely damage that stack.

I dunno, attacking with strength 2 skeletons into strength 8+ fire elementals doesn't exactly seem wise when you are just about holding out. Also, building an adept in Coombe is dumb.

Yeah, you are right. If the elementals are defending, the skeletons would need a lot of luck to damage the stack. I was thinking with the assumption that tredje might go for a Kill the Noghtwatch plan. That would mean having to keep the Sons stack without the elementals.

Well, first question...do you need CoE in a city to build Gibbon? If so, that's actually quite a risky scenario for both Orcs and Clowns.
Really need to know where the haste adepts are...
In the scenario you talking about Ichabod, yeah, I can see that being seriously risky to not keep the fire elementals for defense, might end up trading Coombe for anything from no SoI to all 4 SoI, depending on luck. But if he doesn't send the FE to take out the nightwatch, he is going to be running into Gibbon flinging earth elementals into Coombe view.
You know, it's really annoying watch Iskender role up. I think that might be enough to break Coombe...

Iskender's recon intel might be the deciding factor in this. He's already eyed up the Adept stack...

Considering he's basing the hawks in Balseraph cities that's a little shady.

I wonder how long Bob/Dave will take to see Iskender stack and realize that there's a backstab coming. It will depend on how they use their hawks.
I also agree with Krill regarding the adept being build in Combee View. It's just going to get killed without doing nothing at all. I'm sure there are better things to build right now.
To build Gibbon Bob will need to convert to CoE and have it in the city (now that we speak of it, I'm not 100% sure... but it wouldn't make sense otherwise). Losing the nightwatch will be a enormous deal, since the CoE holy city is a recently founded one.

A warrior would be cheaper and do more damage. Nightwatch, well, have to watch closely to see what happens.
