Time for more clarification questions. tongue

I have experimentally determined that the Kuriotate Shadow is not a ratman, but rather has the generic image and model. Does this mean they don't count anymore, or does this mean that a non-ratman Shadow which was upgraded (from a ratman assassin) or produced in a Kuriotate city still counts for anything referencing the monster list?
