Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

However, we now know that that opponent is on the opposite side of the world from us because:

Wassup?

When da save comes up to ya, you'll notice a rinky li'l Work Boat all up near your border's business. Don't get it any worry, it's just our scout, the great USS Thunderchild, of the Akira class of Work Boats. They are a peaceful, Exploration class vessel armed to the teeth with deadly fishing nets, ludicriously overpowered fisherman and the entirely feared "die for a resource" special.

Alas, there is one thing it is not equipped to handle: Yellow borders covering her lovely sea!

So, considering I will soon learn the fine art of Writing EOT, mayhaps you would be so kind to click my name and offer me a token of our consideration? smile I am sure we could be great friends.

PFARGLE,
Kuro

Quote:Greetings,

I have indeed seen you fleet poised upon our borders, but luckily our own HMS Intrepid is back from its manouvers in the North and has arrived just in time to drive you vessel away with its own deadly nets.

We will now proceed to chase your ship back whence it came!

We welcome further talks however once sufficient offerings are brought to us

Quote:I am not really sure what I can offer you without Currency or anything. smile Perhaps information?

I offered borders in-game before I read this message and can't reload, so just reject them if we do not come to some form of agreement. smile

Now I was just talking rubbish with that whole offering thing, and was about to just reply back, ask a random non civ related question as a joke information request and agree to the borders however right now we get no trade routes and let him scout our territory, so I started wondering if I should actually be asking for something.

That said I think Lewwyn is probably the most aggresive player in this game (apart from you!) hence I would expect any trouble to come from the North, hence maybe it makes sense to play nice with Kuro, plus it will not be too long until we are at their borders anyway

So to summarise, I plan to ask a random joke question and agree to OB, objections?

OB with Kuro is just fine from my point of view. smile

OK ... so we will build a warrior or a scout in our second city after monument in order to have a unit for main island exploration ( with a Galley of course ) ? rolleye

My vote is scout, no barbs roaming around, and getting the most info quickest I think is highest priority

Quote:Information it will have to be then.

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Give me that critical piece of information, and we will sign the open borders agreement

What's the plan for our WB ?

Go towards Kuro's island in order to get full benefits from our OB agreement once Sailing is in ? Or use it to get sea-food for second city - in order to grow it ( but this will be possible only once the Monument will expand our cultural borders ) ? huh

Anyway - I feel that we need to cottage all around our capital ... even the farmed spot ( not the one with corn - the other one ), no ? rolleye
