Also, perhaps the second most important reason: It seemed fun. XP

Of course, I could switch off of it too. I've barely put any research into it, after all.

Hm. Thoughts?

You know why i like philo? because i can start using scientist later and still getting academy fast enough and so i can use population for worker setler or to grow cottages.

And one more thing with an academy and 2 scientiest and some comerce you can have a decent city to reserch for you for a while.

And great person get more and more expansive by the time so long term your priority should be bulbing education , philo not math.

So, turn in. I switch off of MC for Maths for...ironically, entirely undiscussed reasons. XD

Specifically, I realized there was no way I had the Worker labor for all this chopping, so the plan would not work. If they weren't speeding the Colossus up, I probably could, since it'd only be a 2T-ish delay...but I figure if they are speeding it, it's not worth it. So Maths -> Currency it is. Then probably finish MC.

This also means Equius will whip a Settler in 3T + however long it takes to reach 40 hammers, which given triple food resources + possibly horses at this point will hopefully not be long. After that it'll either build a Worker if it won't take long or garrison for new cities. Either way, after the Worker some garrison would be nice.

Odds are it'll go to the Captor spot, while Erodan's next whipped Settler will go to the Karkat spot.

SCOUTING, SCOUTING!
WIN, WIN!

I'm thinking plant a city right on where the Scout is? 1W would pick up Spices and minimize coastal tiles, but would also cause them to be true peak tiles stuck @ 1/0/2 forever. On the other hand, I think you'd only have like...2.

Both Settlers en route to their respective destinations.

We have Graphs on Ellimoogle now, so let me show them off.

Score doesn't say much, but here you can see clearly where Ellimoogle got the Oracle. Notice how my score dips into little peaks and valleys a lot more often because I'm whipping a lot, while Ellimoogle's are sharper.

The GNP Graph. You can see how my GNP dipped up and down as I whipped Feferi for Settlers and then grew to re-work the Gold. While Ellimoogle's jumps sharply as he founds Hinduism(2680 BC) and builds the Oracle(2080 BC). I dunno why his GNP just suddenly spiked like that, but at least 13 of it is "fake" GNP from the Oracle + Holy City and he has spread Hinduism to at least his second city. Also, FYI, they founded their fourth city, bringing them even with me for...about two turns.

Production has been consistantly low for me, because I have been just whipping 75% of shit out. Ellimoogle's production is ramping, with a spike a bit ago consistant with their "BUILD THE COLOSSUS FASTER GOGOGOGOGO" plan. Thanks to the whip, this graph is a bit useless.

The food graph tells a much better tale. Notice how I have stayed even or better with them, despite the fact I have been whipping more than them. Also note they are #1 right now and I am #2: Except their capital and second city are Size 6 and therefor making more food, while I am on the bottom half of a whipping cycle.

I think you can tell who is winning here.

Useless power graph, most of it is from pop. I'm going to build some units to make mine look respectable soon, because a galley attack with two Axes could be quite annoying.

Culture graph, fairly useless, but you can see when I found all my cities if you pay careful attention, thanks to Creative.

Demo screen. Our GNP is not "the bomb", but the ever-important food stat is solidly #2 and such. I'm guessing Ellimoogle is 100% 1-turning Masonry, giving them a double prereq + known tech/civ bonus on it, causing the GNP spike, on the way to Mono.

Turn in. NobleLewwyn ALSO founded their fourth city this turn, leaving Jkioan in the dust. Good thing we have 6 to 7 coming up soon, eh?

Jkioan has some nice city spots, but Aradia is going to be a bitch to him, really carving up his territory some. Yay!

Also, jungle up here. We can also see Ellimoogle's unnamed scout. Hi, unnamed scout!

This reminds me, I need to name that one unnamed Worker. And since I don't feel like going with the NCIS naming scheme for it, it is now Itchy, in another HS reference.

Sollux will be founded next turn. Feferi will work two Scientists starting next turn. That's all to report, really.

And then this turn, NobleLewwyn founded ANOTHER city, slowly confirming my thoughts that they will be my primary opponent. Hopefully Lewwyn will take some control and be too aggressive.

Whee.

Sollux is founded. It'll be slow to start, because it doesn't have much of a food surplus, and I can't whip it much. Until I can get more Workers over there to farm some FP it isn't worth growing, so it'll slowbuild a Worker, which will go down when the copper mine is able to be made. Once Abby finishes said mine, her and the new Worker can start building Farms until there is a more reasonable surplus.

Ducky and Itchy will pasture the horses and complete a route from Equius to the copper, giving me options for unit building, then head off to appear just in time for Aradia Megido to be improved.

Just scouting more jungle. We're gonna need IW once we expand some more.

Ellimoogle clearly whipped this turn and stopped getting Masonry, which let us take the #1 GNP spot(Along with possibly him/others max golding). Early whip cycles mean it's only approximate overall, but for now we are dominating the food graph, which will only go up when Aradia Megido's two corn comes online. Feferi began working two Scientists and will pop a Great Scientist in 8T.

EOT, Equius grew, which means we should get a Settler soon from whipping. Making 10 food surplus and 4 hammers at Size 4 means we will have a little overflow, it should be done in 3-4T and that if we whip a Granary we can get a ton of stuff from here. Granary will be completed/whipped after the Settler for sure.

Also, I didn't realize it, but Sollux's river connection to Equius means I have a trade route with James Bond there. Yum, free +3 commerce!

That is all there is to say on the matter.

How many workers do you have tooling around atm? With Aradia so far from your other cities you need a road to it pronto.

3, which I plan to double in short order(Sollux will get a chop into it's and with the grassland copper hopefully go fast, Erodan will probably snag a Worker after whipping the next Settler and use some overflow to help and I am thinking I might have Equius build a Worker too after it's Settler).

More turns, although this time no cities founded.

Ari scout!

Abby continues to prep for getting the Copper Mine up.

For a small map, we sure have a lot of city spots. This is why I think Ellimoogle are underestimating the power of their religion and AP: Just with my city sites, you could easily get 12 GPT before modifiers and 24 hammers with just a Temple in every city. That is not at all trite.

EOT, Erodan is grow! Aradia Megido founded in 2T.

I want to point out I don't get why Ellimoogle and others are not abusing Slavery more: Why does Ellimoogle have a Size 7 cap???
Reply

why? Because working hils you get alot of production, and you get just your first setler worker latter and after that you using slavery get at same time or even later. And he gains the comerce too. So yeah abig city working just improved tiles beats slavery in long term for sure.
