You don't think it'd kill 6 units? I suppose it might not take 6 cities for awhile. Also, I don't see why not to use a build from Lorien anyway. Marines should be considered vastly more expendable.

The main issue is that it needs to survive the counterattack before it can promote. That said, I would personally use a Lorien tank just in the outside chance that it survives.

I think it would take one city ever (e.g. Stone, Luddite's capital, or Alpine, the confucian holy city), if that city was foolishly left with just 1 or maybe 2 defenders on a critical turn. And then it would be stranded in the middle of enemy territory and die immediately. Even if we did manage to farm some experience with it, what promotion could we give it that would really matter? (OK, I guess being able to promote a blitz unit to morale (extra move) mid-turn is relevant even when you're moving on railroads. But not very.) It's basically a trick unit.
I'd rather use the Lorien tanks to promote up to CR3, which our other tanks (if we got any) couldn't do. Or just build more boats in Lorien since they get 3 promotions, too (could get Nav2).
Edit: I don't think we're building West Point - we'd have to research Music and Military Tradition, it's expensive and would have to be built instead of units, and Lorien already has both HE and Moai Statues. And the game seems fairly close to over, whichever way things turn out.

Just saw the public thread...
If that's "Hit Musicals", what's "Rock & Roll" going to be?
Actually, I think Rock & Roll is that trick unit tank you were mentioning.

I hope we get a chance to use it.

That's funny actually. Why the hell are you able to build Broadway and Rock & Roll without Music?

Because, apparently, Radio doesn't require it, and neither do the wonders.
"Musicals" I'm willing to forgive because, you know, there's non-musical theater too. "Rock & Roll" ... I dunno. If it were "Hip Hop," I'd just call it beat poetry.
(Hollywood for movies, similarly, makes sense as compared to the radio ones.)
Man, we're running an extremely strange communist paradise.
