I'm pretty sure the pool resets itself after the turn that the great person is born. Overflow points have no character and are not used in the calculation of the next person.

Academy created. Finally back on the top of GNP board where I belong with 43.50 beakers per turn before prerequisites and known tech bonus. Feels good
EoT finished both Runes and Settler, time to get expanding now.

Have we gotten any events at all? And are you going to use the thane for a border pop (I recommend this) or a spread? I assume we did get the holy city. Also, it's better to build the road first to hook up the trade route before plantationing the incense.

Spread, everything of importance ( wheat, copper and incense ) either already is within our borders or will be after the city goes down. We can live without the sheep for a while and the city can push out it's own disciple for culture.

Well, a thane is the same cost as a monument, so you'd only want to build one if you can build it from the capital instead. Which might be good. Or maybe you can just settle another city northwest of the sheep and not bother with culture until much later. It would be good to grab the peaks for visibility though.
Have you done any planning for legendary city locations? Or not bothering until we get more information?

There's no clear candidates yet.

Ravus cast For the Horde.
Settler team ( Settler, 2x Warrior, Thane ) moved out, I expect a city in place in 3 turns.
Queued Festivals, due in 4t.
Queued Warrior in capital, due in 2t.
Capital grows in 4t and starts on a settler.
My GNP is a lowly 63, I'm making 4gpt at 100% research

Not yet, but we're approaching this point fast I'll do an overview once next turn hits.
