Hm, I put the file in my savegame-folder, open the game via steam, switch to the FFH2-mod and then open the save. Everything in windowed mode. Never had an issue.

I just open the save file directly, it seems to reset the config file once out of 5 tries.

Yes, I am working on getting my internet access working again. I've been on the phone with the help desk for most of the morning.

Sent, sorry about the delay.

I had internet troubles a few months ago on my primary machine, and have been using a backup since then. Then that method quit working yesterday, so I had to go ahead and fix the problems that I'd been avoiding. Now that I have, assuming it stays fixed, I won't need to use a flash drive to transport civ related files any more.

Hey Ellimist, thanks for the heads up. I hope you didn't take it as offensive, I just have it happen in so many games that players just overlooked they had the save or forgot to pass it on after they played it that I'd rather ask sooner then later. smile

No offense taken at all. Pbem21 has gotten through 3 turns in the past 9 days so I understand completely. I should have posted something last night when I discovered I'd be delayed.

Anyone up for a blitz this weekend?

I can do basically any time from now until Sunday, with the exceptions of Saturday afternoon (1500-1830 GMT, damned wedding) and Thursday day...
