Sullla's post is clearly a joke because it would be too aggersive to use the cute if it where not.
With no diplomacy spulla is now just another player with the "what to do when someone goes AWOL stituation" now being resolved. I have to say that I think sullla had no chance of winning this issue althought I think he was right about this one!
I think the spulla team is going to win. Everyother team only has only one good player and that player can only do so much in a Civ4 game (unless that player micromanges everyone else which no-one is doing). Spulla has two good players and is willing to micromange the 3rd one. Spulla also cares about this game much more than the other players. It will take a couple of months for spulla's team's edge to become clear though due to the big map turning this game into a buildfest.

Sure, sunrise089 lacks Sulla's city management skills (and there is no chance he'd put in the same amount of work), so it makes sense for him to ride Sulla's coat tails in that aspect of the game. However, I bet you when it comes to unit tactics Sulla will express his opinion, but defer to sunrise089. That's what sunrise089 brings to the team, although its a bit redundant with Speaker around.

Spaceman, at least there's a thrilling space race being reported in terse one-liners in our pbem17 thread.
