TBH I don't understand why you guys are getting so riled up about it.Okay, he gets grouchy. So? It's ironic to me that everyone is getting so inflamed about Sullla randomly getting inflamed at nonsense.

Getting "inflamed": reasonable.
Deleting other peoples' posts: unreasonable.

It's an issue when he uses his moderator powers in a bad mood to cut off others who are having fun with friendly banter. (Ninjaed by SevenSpirits. What he said.)
We've taken it to this lurker thread, as Sullla said; but that's not the result of a consensus or reasoned discussion, it's the result of Sullla having the power to kick others off the playground.
This discussion doesn't even need to be in a lurker thread, there's no spoilers here. We have to hide here because Sullla will get mad if we don't.

I'm mildy amused, and compusively irreverent, but not riled up . I think space is the only one that has a right to be "riled up" because Speaker's post was just plain mean, but its pretty obvious his overriding emotion is also amusement.

Sometimes, some people's attitude seems needlessly arrogant. It is just a game. It may be a more serious game, this time, but it is still just a game. It seems to me that some lightening up would be in order.
Having enjoyed PB4, this game is borderline boring for me. Perhaps I am being unfair. There seems to be so little posting especially considering there are so many more active players. Where is LP when you need him...
Or, perhaps, my expectations are not aligned to what this RB community is about.

Sorry, I hope that my above post does not sound too ungrateful, I do appreciate the efforts. I know it is a bit demanding to want more postings when people are busy playing the game.

I would say that this game has not been a good representative sample for whatever reason of our community. Both PB2 and PB4 were well reported by all relevant parties. Most of our PBEM games are well reported to at least some extent.
The issue with this game is threefold I think. One, with all teams, a lot of the players are communicating outside of the thread rather than inside it which reduces the threadspam. Two, the stop/start beginning of the game I think reduced both lurker interest and some of the players interest as well. Three, this game less than any of the other pitbosses didn't draw as much of the community because of, depending on who you talk to, A: Spulla stacking the deck in a format they were more likely to succeed in (I don't subscribe to this theory) or B: Most of the community uninterested in a format they aren't familiar with (my theory.) Whatever the case there's a lot of reasons this isn't an especially exciting game to lurk.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

darrell stirring the pot has been the only redeeming part of this pitboss so far.

Definitely not riled, although there was a brief time that I was a bit irritated (but not surprised) by Speaker's tone, but probably more by his response to my first post, hence my second post was a little sarcastic. He fell for this as I thought he would and I felt it was only a matter of time before he threw a bit of a strop in a mildly rude way.
I then could respond in kind or be more playful. I chose the latter approach, which may be why my posts still survive (or they did - I haven't checked).
The moderation stuff has just been plain silly.
Sullla's walkthrough brought me to the website and his writings can be fascinating and brilliant.
But I agree with Krill that Sullla has shown signs of this for a while, from pickiness in SGs, going mad in PB2, the mass critique at the end of PB4, to multiple strops in this one. I'm sure there's more. Speaker, if anything, has been even more moody.
Sometimes I just want to scream:
IT'S JUST A BIT OF FUN!!!
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.
