The issue isn't finishing Lib in 1 turn (I am pretty sure I can do that) ... the issue is what to take with Lib. I would like to clear music so that I can take the tech that opens Conq and Cavs.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Well in my opinion it's better to just take liberalism first, then to try and aim for something else and miss it completely. I'm not a good player though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Here is the situation re Liberalism ... - Para put 3 or 4 turns into researching it and is now sitting on it (what for, I have no idea).
- I am trying to steal it from Para by researching it in 1 turn.
- My only hope is that he gives me that 1 turn.
- If he finishes it as soon as I show that I can tech it, then there is nothing I can do about that.
- However, if he gives me that 1 turn - I may as well try and get the best tech I can for it.

Isk is 1 turn away from finishing Education and he will have the ability to tech Liberalism starting next turn. Liberalism falling to Para is blah, Liberalism falling to Isk is a disaster. I will finish Education next turn and take Liberalism the turn after if it is still available. I will also buzz Para and tell him to take it ... don't give Isk even 1 turn to tech it.

I've completed Education, fired off a 2GP Golden Age (while still enjoying the Taj GA) and can finish Liberalism in 1 turn (which I will do next turn, if the free tech is still available).

Normally, this game turns up in my inbox at about 4am every 2nd day. As such, I was expecting to see it Sunday morning.
Sunday - nothing
Monday - nothing
Tuesday - nothing
Agggg - don't you hate it when something big is happening (will Para take Liberalism or not?) and the turn doesn't turn up.
