You can see that Hans started teching gunpowder - my aim is to keep the 'turns to finish' going up. The turn started with that counter showing '6' and finished with the counter showing '5'. I also managed to put a bit of a dent in his military holdings.

Meanwhile - there are rumors of war in the far North West.

It seems that a border dispute has broken out between the Western Expanse and the Dutch. Even the name of the incident (border dispute, pre-emptive action, full on invasion, call it what you will) is under dispute. While the Ghost Dancers cannot tell other nations what to do, it should be remembered that this is not an exercise nor live fire training - this is a real war and lives have been lost on both sides.

Nations sending non combat scouts or single combat observers should plan accordingly.

Nations sending heavily armed contingencies should rethink their approach as accidents can happen in these confusing and tense situations.

And to answer this question ... Isk basically emptied the closest city (it felt like he had most of his army in that city) towards Hans - he could have invaded my land, instead he is moving South ...

... however, his final destination is not known.

What is known, is that he parked them on a forested hill with no surrounding roads ... so if he moves further South, it will take a few turns to get anywhere.



I will be concentrating on taking Han cities in the North of his land and then cleaning up the ones in the South ... less chance for Isk to steal them from me.

How is your tech doing? Can we see some demographics?

Tech is turned on again - Oxford finished. I put a turn into Steel and then a turn into steam ... I am doing a John Kerry here and not heading towards 1 target:

• Steel - yummy cannons
  
• Steam - quicker worker actions
  

I've decided that I want cannons before (effectively) more workers. If Isk sticks his head too far South, he just might find his forces caught on flat land ... that would be bad.
