Whoopsie...saw the invite to sign up and the "this is a pita to play posts" and jumped on in....

Obviously, Pindicator and Brian have prior call on the save.

Thanks man. I had a fun afternoon playing around with the save, but as Bob quite correctly pointed out to me: You and Brian have dibs on the save if you want to play it.

If you guys are ok with me jumping in, then I'll happily post a turn report once I've finished up playing.

If you want to carry on as you were, NP. I've had some fun already and can easily pass on the rest of the game (Downloading and playing a few turns cancels me out of playing any further turns given the spirit of this game imo....but I've had fun so far, so no worries either way. )

I think if you've moved the game along, it is perfectly all right for us other players to not see the results of your moving it (if you see what I mean).

Lurker's comment: Yep, rarely in Civ we have a capable AI opponent so late in the game! And dealing with Blood of the Phoenix'ed units sure sounds fun.

So one thing I'm wondering. I know the shuffle map script we used is pretty random, but is there an actual map script that approximates the shape of this map? A long fairly wide band of land with ocean above and below it. I'm sure there must be, since it's a simple enough layout but I can't think what it is.
