Saw a random video showing a lvl 65 toon. Yes that's news to me since I have not been reading up on GW2, I've only watched videos. I avoid reading as much as possible these days.


The character customization is extensive and the facial emotions impressive.
Looking damn good, and ready for testing. Should be ready for release by first quarter 2012 jive

Don't think it will be Q1 2012, KoP. Latest word I heard from NCSoft financial statements is they are hoping for sometime in the 2nd half of 2012.

My estimate was a bit optimistic based on the alpha testing cycle, and just maybe they are trying to meet that April 28th date. It could be a little tight.

GW2 ran a closed beta for the press this past weekend and there is a wealth of new information available. Everything looks pretty incredible so far.

Here is a good collection of videos on everything under the sun: http://www.guildwars2guru.com/guild-wars...-coverage/. There are no spoilers at that link but several videos contain spoilers of skills and early levels gameplay.

IGN has a couple more in-depth videos here: http://www.ign.com/videos/games/guild-wars-2-pc-896298, although the journalist isn't very good at the game. The massive open world vs world vs world video is definitely worth watching.

As someone who's never played GW before, how exactly does the end level work with no actual tank and healer? Do you just zerg everything like you apparently do at low levels in the GW2 previews?
