I'm a little unsure why it was fine for FFH and it's a problem here, but the short of it is, Sunrise will not be able to host for us unless there's a workaround we can find. So in short, we're in need of a host. Is anyone able to host?
This is so weird. The pitboss instances run separately, and it's bizarre IMHO that the game will run the pitbosses fine but just not allow connections when one has a mod running

Okay we have a possible solution. Mist just messaged me and says that the mod seems to be ignoring the port settings and using port 2056 regardless of what you set it to, whereas vanilla BtS will use the port you tell it to use. So Mist would set it to something like 2062, but he discovered it was ignoring that and running on 2056.
So Sunrise - can you test putting the mod up and see if you can connect to port 2056? That's assuming PB6 and PB7 are not using 2056...

Yeah, I can test it. It isn't easy to change that setting in the mod, is it?

Not sure what you mean? I assumed that the port thing is a Pitboss setting and not a mod/BtS setting.

Sorry, I was just asking if "the mod seems to be ignoring the port settings and using port 2056 regardless of what you set it to" could be fixed. Among other things with things as they currently sit it would be impossible to ever run two mod games concurrently.

I just checked, there aren't any settings in the mod config file that affect (or rather, explicitly affect) pitboss. There are settings in the BtS config file that specifies the server. Maybe that has something to do with it?

It seems like a Pitboss bug rather than a mod bug so I'm guessing no. The reason I say that is because Mist tried it with other mods and ran into the same problem of not being able to run them concurrently.
