After watching Regi, TBH I agree with him. Communication and theory crafting are important. They'll end up in a schedule where they'll make a plan at night and the next day they'll practice it.

I think Regi (and the rest of TSM) are right about changing up their approach but that schedule is totally unreasonable. Focusing on arranged 5s and theorycrafting in the downtime has got to be better than grinding solo queue all day. But 16 hours a day every day? Gimme a break.
Imo, Dyrus is a very small upgrade over TRM in top but Seyruun diagnosed their real problems. TheOddOne camps mid and is a great support jungler which is currently weak in the super-agressive jungle meta. Plus camping mid lets top push without fear leading to tower denial or easy tower dives. That makes it look like TRM is failing harder than he is because he can't safely apply lane pressure.
So the new champion is a support who looks interesting. Skill set:
Quote:Pix, Faerie Companion (Passive) - Pix fires magical bolts of energy whenever his owner attacks another enemy unit. These bolts are homing, but can be intercepted by other units. Also I love the new Sean Connery Untouchables skin for Graves

I don't get Riot's balancing... nerf lifesteal/spellvamp items with one hand, buff heroes with innate sustain (shen/olaf/ww) with the other?
Lulu looks like she enough utility that she won't become a Karma. Her designer was talking about the fact that he loaded most of the power on to the base stats of each skill so she could operate well without items. He also said that they had Janna in mind when they were trying to balance her.
Also Karma is being reworked by Guinsoo and is being tested now (I think), changes include adding a silence. Judging by Guinsoo's other reworks such as Shen and Gangplank we might even see a glorious short window of overpowered Karma uberfish Wrote:I don't get Riot's balancing... nerf lifesteal/spellvamp items with one hand, buff heroes with innate sustain (shen/olaf/ww) with the other? Well, WW's sustain actually wasn't buffed much; they traded his sustain for laning presence/jungling speed and it made him a more well-rounded champion (which I like much as a Warwick afficionado). Olaf's sustain wasn't touched at all, instead they buffed Undertow and fiddled around with the ult; according to most, he still isn't much except for a great early laner and a juggernaut in super-late game. Now Shen's sustain got really buffed but then again all that Shen could do before was the ability to stalemate strong lanes and then provide no real utility to the team for the rest of the game, even if built tanky DPS (Bloodrazor, Wit's End, et cetera). If you tried playing Shen vs Nasus, it was free farm for Nasus.
Just played a game with Lulu, she is a real fun champ! I feel she is quite strong though and might get toned down, her kit just covers all game phases very well.
Especially the different effects on a single skill seem very good, i.e. if your jungler ganks you can use the e to add damage, if you are getting ganked you can shield your carry with the same skill if needed. I was wondering about her passive too, at level 18 the pix passive deals 117 total free damage, which seems a bit high to me. Then again, maybe some pro player ranks her as Tier 4 and I was all wrong |
