How long do you think it'd take Sulla & company to actually have troops in a position where they could threaten Team 2? From what Sullla was saying it seemed like it was something that couldn't really be done off the cuff, even if team two was distracted by other invasions.

I assume they mean they're all going to be firing them at the same time.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

If we can grab Railroad fast enough, then Shoot should definitely try and build/whip out as many Machine Guns that can make it to the front as he can. Immunity to collateral and +50% against gunpowder for a str18 unit is amazing and will make all those cats and muskets/Jannies much less useful. Their best counter to those is Cuirs, which already are at a str disadvantage and will have to get past my likely formation Rifles to reach. I'd build some myself but I doubt any that I build will make it in time (unless Shoot is very quick at making an effective Railroad network, which if possible we should strive for).

I guess that contradicts my earlier statement that we can delay Railroad, but success in this attack is easily the most important thing in the game right now as we can't let them end the game this way (I want my fun with commando's wink).
IMO going for machine guns is a bad choice for them here. For one thing they're forgetting that, with CKNs, we actually can do collateral against machine guns, and with enough macemen you can kill the machine guns. Also I'm not sure they realize how flanking works... with enough flanking 2 cuirs you can kill unlimited cannons, no matter how well protected they are, since the cuirs will always have a 45% chance to withdraw. Of course Lewwyn doesn't have any cuirs yet, but might have time to get it just with passive research from the UoS.

I think their continuous arguments about tech path is the flaw in their setup. While they're infinitely more engaged than T2 or T4 they're still primarily playing as 3 seperate civs helping each other out rather than T1's one giant Civ with 3 moving parts. The PHI player obviously wants to run Rep whereas the other two players without many specialists are understandably less interested.

Personally, I think I'd grab Constitution for Dave and Democracy for Shoot. Why build Kremlin and not leave yourself the option to cash rush as well? I think if they're going to kill T2 they can do it with the tech they have and the biggest issue between them vs T1 is economy.

Yeah it's really hard to coordinate three different players and civs. Frankly I'm amazed that team 2 managed as well as we did...

I think I'd agree with you on the tech plan. They mostly just need to mass as many rifles as they can get, to kill Beijing, and then race to try and build more tanks and fighters than team 1. I guess MGs might help protect that side while they're attacking Beijing, though.

This is why Sullla was so big on making sure their 3rd teammate would be available on TeamSpeak.

The most funny way this game can is just before team 2 kills lewwyn's capatail team 1 invades with a huge stack of death that would rip out a bunch of core cites. Spullla likes having a big net so he will notice a lack of units team 3 has. Team 3 realizes they cannot win and turn around kingmaking team 2.

This actually seems like something that might happen! lol

ASM's latest update has them winning on T194, so it looks like Beijing will fall.

The current estimate has only 11 artists and one of the cities making <300 cpt, though, so if/when Beijing falls recovery will be more difficult than what it looked like from their previous estimate.
