Oh, somehow I missed that we'd gotten a new one already. The old one was still working until yesterday.

Yeah, Darrell said that his friend lost access to that server.

Anyone for calling it? Novice and I are happy to keep playing but I don't think the outcome is in doubt anymore.

I don't agree with the assessment, but clearly we have no shot at winning so it isn't particularly relevant what our particular assessment is. We're entirely willing to keep playing but also don't care if the rest of you are keen to call it.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

IMO it doesn't matter whether you think you have a shot at winning - whether you'd prefer to keep playing or not is always relevant. We are playing for fun after all.* What would you guys like best? * If it seems like this conflicts with my explanation involving whether the outcome is in doubt, here's how I think about these things. A favorite quotation of mine is "When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." (--Reiner Knizia) As a game gets to the point where we know who is going to win already, I think the goal of the game dies. Winning or losing, I'd rather start a fresh game where the outcome is once again unknown. Of course this is just my preference and I don't want to force it on anyone else.
In chatting with Noble, he put it like this:
Quote:Noble: i mean consulting us is basically academic Which I thought was pretty accurate.* * - apologies to mackoti and possibly novice who I would assume are less in tune with American political parties. In terms of the possibly more germane question of whether we would like to keep playing purely based on our own enjoyment - we're agnostic. We find ways to make the turns fun but would shed no tears if they stopped showing up in our inbox.

What ever you guys want to do. It's up to you and Novice since you're the only ones beyond GN and I who have a chance vs. Mack at this point. So I guess like Gaspar says the Hindu nations are agnostic.
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
OK. Game is conceded. GG All. It was a pleasure to play with you even though I disliked all three of your nations in the game, hehe.
