280. I'm expecting a lot of units to die.

No has cheated in this game. The worst thing that happened was team 3 spazing out about team 1 about not doing anything and posting about telling them before the lurkers stopped them.

I'm saying that losing does not "count" if you lost because someone else cheated. Team 2's very lucky culture is the closest you can come for a loss not "counting" ignoring cheating. Team 2's win is much more lucky than LP because LP could guess reasonably well what the other teams would do.

I think you're wrong. Can we do a straw-poll on how many people understood my post? I know at least one person. lol

I'll note Diplomatic victory is not in the list smile.

If T3 sees that it's impossible to take Beijing in two turns they have to play to take it in three turns. Even if the chance of salvation from T4 is negligible, no winning move- however implausible- involves wasting units. If Lewwyn packs the city as deep as he plans and the 3 cities go legendary than the only chance T3 has is to hope for divine intervention. Given the time they've put into the game I think it's more likely they pray for the miracle than send their pikes to the gallows.

As Lewwyn said, half a turn too late. frown

Also, getting warmed up for WW. lol

In a way, the game suddenly ending right now would almost feel disappointing. Not that it wouldn't be entertaining to see a CV attempt succeed, but I think it could be fun watching this game roll over to the modern age, even if ultimately it ends up being Team 1's game to lose.

What about war weariness? Even if team 3 succeeds, attacking and losing 150+ units in enemy lands will create a huge amount of anger, right?
