Is that what you used for PBEM4?

Exactly smile. I was going to tell Dave to run away if it was the same.

We'll be recording it? Then again, with all the lurker activity this is getting, I'm not too surprised.

Probably a good idea for dave to be the one recording, as he doesn't have any units in the area that could be misclicked.

To be honest, you may want to tell this to team 2, not us. I expect that the major fireworks will come when they attack us, not the other way around. So for us to capture it we would both have to be lucky and catch when they log in (something I don't have the time to do in the coming days unfortunately) AND they would have to not be like team 1 and force us to leave the game even if we were to catch when they log in. We'll do our best obviously, but yeah go make sure they cover it as well!

Yeah that would be the best, although I'd still be worried if his recording lags the game for the two of us.

Yeah, that's why I suggested a non-computer-attached digital camera, pointed at the screen.

I like Hypercam for game recording, http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/ . It behaved best when I was recording videos of that Jamestown shootemup last year.

Okay, thanks for the quick replies. I'll give the software a look sometime tomorrow or Saturday before the battle for Beijing. I'm a little concerned I may have technical difficulties running it - since I'm already on a virtual machine running Civ4. WK may be the better candidate for recording.

@Shoot and WK. I think we should all download teamspeak and use it to coordinate this battle. Thoughts?

If you have two players logged in at the same time, could easily have one person recording and the other doing the moves.

Teamspeak would be easy to use if you guys wanted. Mookies server is always around.

I'd prefer ventrillo, simply because I already have it installed and set up. I know a server we can use as well. If you guys already have teamspeak though I can get it.

Big thing to consider for next turn is whether to promote our rifles when we move onto the flat land. I pretty strongly think we should because:

1) I feel like our MGs won't be able to hold everything they have
2) If we survive the assault on the flat land, we take the city. Really, I feel like turns on just surviving their attack on use, and if we can do that the city should be ours.

I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts, but my gut just says we aren't at all assured of surviving on the flat land and should promote all the rifles. Maybe even some cannons (Drill I + II)?
