Nonsense! smoke Pink Dot is always where the real action is taking place. lol "Hot Pink", how can you not love it??

Besides, very easy to spot RB players in crowds. Don't you kind of like that? Let our guild opponents lose initiative while they choke on their beers giggling at our pink emblems. THIS IS THE TRUE BEYOND NAKED SPIRIT. Imagine the humiliation if those pinkos actually whoop them?? It's too precious.

And, I must reiterate, Pink Dot is always where the real action is happening. lol You would have to be an RBCiv'er to get that one, but it's a tradition dating back to the very founding of the Dot Map ™.

You're a silly person, and I am not going to talk to you anymore. tongue

I had fun in the few moments I could sneak the laptop away from my evershopping wife. [High end laptop for online shopping? What was he thinking? smoke ]

I have to echo KoP's point on the ability to stop the bloody camera. It's a good thing I don't get motion sick, because that camerman was all over the place. ESPN's skycam ain't got nothin on this guy!

IIRC, I had taken my necro through the most of the first coop mission, so my view is limited by my playtime. I think once I get used to the camera views....this will be loads of fun. I will likely be pre-ordering and getting the full game as well.

You know, I thought there would never come a time when I would agree with a comment from KoP on the subject of color sense...I guess the end of the world really is on hand.

I have very little problems with the camera in game. Maybe it's because I don't just click on the player in front of me and press the spacebar until the next monsters show up (not a dig at anyone in particular), but I constantly run/strafe using wasd while holding down the right mouse button. I even considered changing the strafe keys from q and e to make it easier on me when I let go of that right mouse button.

Oh, and I really like the x key in this game. Makes quick escapes easier by far, especially since running backwards is so damn slow (I'm used to fps games).

Right, it's the end for the world preview event for me, for I am hitting the bed after writing this. It has been great fun, and I am very likely to get the game when it releases.

Didn't do the last mission, didn't find out about all the bonus quests in the mission, and didn't have the time to explore all those explorable areas. But anyway, a few more things to share:

- The small map on the lower right corner: one can click on it to "ping" and draw on it, very handy. thumbsup

- Keyboard setup: I changed the logging off to "End" (default is F10), and use F5 to F12 for selecting team mates. I find that handy for following the leader, just F# and space bar. Good for casting benefitial skills on team mates too.

It has been fun playing with RBers who has similar play style in the coop missions, thanks! smile Felt really good to have done the Bloodstone Fen mission again in caster heavy team with only one death (at least that's what I remember) in the team, and that's at the very final battle with that big bad boss. We (full RBers team!) didn't have a primary monk, and only one primary warrior IIRC, but we did much better than my previous run in the same mission, when I was with a group with different play style, or maybe it was just headstrong player...

For those still playing, there is this Captain Greywind in Northern Kryta Province, the explorable area of Lion's Arch, that can train some different skills. Then there is another skill trainer (and level 20 crafter) at the Riverside Province (Mission order: Tutorial - D'Allesio Seaboard - Divinity Coast - The Wilds - Bloodstone Fen - Aurora Glade - Riverside Province) staging area. Also from Northern Kryta Province, one can get to the Farmer's Market, which has level 19 crafter, and to the Cursed Lands and beyond.

Didn't finish exploring but has a grand time doing the Cursed Lands with Sirian and some random players, which built up my death count. lol Showed Sirian the way to Captain Greywind, Farmer's Market and Cursed Land, so if interested, bug him. I would show you myself if I am still playing, but I am not, so... wink

Ah, death count, /deaths to check yours. There are /age, /health, and some other too, I think it's on the guide hosted on Guild Wars site.

Thanks again for a nice ending to my game tasting, Hawkmoon, Sirian, Smegged and the rest that my sleep deprived mind cannot remember! smile

Got to me too late. I was already with the Lounging Lurkers with Artega founding from the LL smile

Didn't even know a RB guild existed until someone mentioned Hawkmoon's name by accident in LL guild chat. Nice pink spots. Really, I'm rather jealous of the tabard.

You should've seen how crazy my characters became over time. Oh god I was the epitome of cool. Even non class skills learned temporarily, with the option to learn permanently. With a little effort, you can become a Claudio (CAT) style ranger rogue. Hybrid abilities rock, but option to learn crazy combinations is even better! Not without penalty, but some skills are worth it.

Want to ressurrect? block melee attacks? Your class doesn't have it? You can get it!

I played with Hawkmoon a bit, and led the team... but I've found myself of a completely different playstyle than the team I played with. Hawkmoon herself was a perfect team player, and continued a forced variant style where none was needed.

That bloodstone mission was new to everyone from RBD, and not to me or Scrape in the LL's guild. At that point, the caution everyone else has when facing a new thing for the very first time... just wasn't necessary with me. Naturally, teamplay isn't compatible.

I wasn't as chummy when it came to walking backward to finish off a boss monster that I've faced a dozen times before (literal figure).

I've seen the breadth of Guild wars, and I'm impressed. Ghost (undead) dragons. Scaly things. Creative bosses and ambushes. Purposeful ai exploitation. All very wonderful. Every battle has a counter... and I made a level 24 dragon obey the "Sit" command with a gust of wind. Haha. Imagen that. Fighting a dragon, yell sit! and its forced to fall straight on its hiney while your party bum rushes it. Only works if you've invested enough skill into the air magic to do it, but counters are counters. Pure damage isn't enough. There's a counter to that too wink

Suffice it to say, I like this game.

Ah yes, it was a fun game. However there were at least 3 deaths that I can remember in that mission. Mostly because *ahem* I was the one who died 3 times. Some crazy person thought that resurrecting me would be a good idea in that last mission, when the big fatty was right next to me, just in time to one hit kill me again. After everyone left, I created a new warrior character which was fairly fun (for a little while at least). Word of warning though, NEVER equip an item with negative health regen on it unless you have a death wish.

Guilty, thought it would be nice to have the whole party alive since that's the final battle. However I can swear that when I started casting resurrection, the boss was no where near you, and I forgot it takes twice as long to resurrect while on that altar, also I should have cancel it when I saw the boss heading your way (how did he know I was resurrecting you? huh ). My bad.
