Settled the prophet this turn, and squeaked out Currency -- put the capital in temporary starvation to do so, but we're not delaying the wonder so the rice tile had to be sacrificed this turn. Here are demos after I ended the turn:

I have sight into Sian's city to the east. 2 axes & 2 spears. In the west I'm trying to tell a sentry scout that he's not welcome:

I caught luddite in a chat a few days back and we decided to go for Conquistadors. So forget Feudalism or Guilds or all that nonsense. Top of the tech tree for us: I'll have try to get a couple of great scientists, probably from a GA when we win the race to music (yeah, top of the tech tree is next). Then bulb to Education, tech Liberalism to grab Nationalism. Or maybe grab Military Tech with Lib, who knows.

Got our prize

I started a settler in VentureCompound this turn, and then realized I already had one going in ImpossibleHQ. So I could plant two cities up north but that'd be pretty premature and risky. I'll swap one of those guys to a worker next turn and then plant just one coastal city. After the coastal city finishes and we get a galley i'll finish and send up the second settler.

Literature next turn and we'll start the Great Library in the capital. Music should be a 3 turn build after that. 60+% odds of a Great Engineer in the capital next turn; if I get one then maybe I just rush a national wonder? Or likely I'll settle him at the capital for 6bpt & 3hpt

Do you think anyone has finished The Great Lighthouse? You could rush that, and use that intercontinental plant to milk 4-5 coastal cities? You also have your religion pretty well spread. You could try to do the religious trio, rush the Apostolic Palace.

Settled in the cap with Rep will be good too.
Completed: SG2-Wonders or Else!; SG3-Monarch Can't Hold Me; WW3-Surviving Wolf; PBEM3-Replacement for Timmy of Khmer; PBEM11-Screwed Up Huayna Capac of Zulu; PBEM19-GES, Roland & Friends (Mansa of Egypt); SG4-Immortality Scares Me

Up to turn 71

Sian added a spear, 4 catapults, and a HA last turn. I've cued up a few more catapults myself and we're going to delay building TGL a turn to get another catapult out of the capital. Don't want to see it fall apart now because I want to skip on military.

My main army is 10 HA and 3 catapult, so we could use a few more cats in the mix. This next round will be 4 cats & 1 HA.

You can see we are powering through Literature at 0%. Music should take 2 - 3 turns. Then I'll do Code of Laws, Civil Service, and Philosophy before firing off the golden age and revolting into Buddhism, Caste, Bureau, and Pacifism.

If Sian does a large attack, I'll probably do Theology instead of Philosophy and instead revolt into Bureau & Theocracy for some war civics. Be a shame to waste a golden age on war, but it's golden either way.

We got our scientist at end of turn; academy at the capital underway.

GES, should I build Temple of Artemis in the capital? Afterall that free priest gets +3 beakers now.

Well, the secret about the northern bonanza is not so much a secret any more: AT has a horse archer escorting a settler. I just saw one of Sian's HAs around here earlier, so I need to be careful that it hasn't slipped north towards Malice.

Speaking of Sian, he's coming from the east as well:

I switched to a spear in Malice and we'll 2-pop whip it next turn. The over flow will probably go into another spear, or maybe into finishing up the granary. I also have 3 more HAs coming up from the south and they will be in Malice in 2 turns.

There is also the matter of what to do with the settler. I wanted to send it northeast to the corn site, so I could get a quick galley and then settle on the silver with a settler I've got stalled in VentureCompound. But if Sian is sending HAs over to harass then maybe i need to send more HAs north or build more spears.

Started TGLib in the capital; due in 4 turns.
