I was able to get a seal on both sides. Land was not stellar but good enough, and I got shared religion with Gilgamesh thankfully. Those forests became The Great Library and Workers/Settlers.

That's a whole lot of forests.

Well the game I was playing turned out poorly. Pericles got Rifling right before my attack, followed very shortly by Military Tradition and Steel, so uhhhh that didn't go well lol

I started up Darrell's game and so far it's going well

I lost my 2nd city in darrell's game. I see how it's probably winnable, but not when that happens wink

That's almost as bad as having someone settle inside your second city.

Not sure if important, but do you have Civ 4 Complete because that comes with 3.13 patch and later patches fix the declare war on vassel problem? Sorry for Necro but interested, in these reports after trying immortal (losing!)

All the games I posted are on patch 3.19 or whatever the latest Beyond the Sword patch. I have heard that beating Deity is easier on Warlords

In warlords you could see like 1400 space race victory from AI-s and used to build huge stack's, and bu huge stacks i meant over 60 units in bc times .In my experience in warlords was very hard, on Bts with trading on and i used to win not very hard. But again warlods was like an imposile task for me , very hard to avoid a Dow and if that happened nerver managed to recover, instead on Bts i managed to do that .

I agree with Mackoti. It's been a while, but I recall higher level Warlords games as very challenging.

I just won my first Deity game (BTS, not warlords wink) pretty recently. I wouldn't really consider it a "fair" win like regoarrarr was going after, though--I was playing Persia on a Tiny pangea with Marathon speed, which, as T-Hawk has shown (albeit on Immortal), is pretty easy.
