This large amount of room does the diplo corps some favours actually. We can use the land statistics to potentially charm some of the perhaps weaker teams and getting them on board for friendly relations.

It's interesting to me that the hosting IP is just given directly rather than using a DNS thingy. I guess his IP won't be changing during the game...

re: C&D spreadsheet, can we use a Google Doc for that? If it has the features we need it's IMHO much better for collaborative input than using dropbox.

Just a note on the "Total land tiles: 2868". I think I read somewhere in the discussion about barbarians on/off that some teams would have a disadvantage because they had desert instead of ocean close by. I think Plako changed something so that barb-problem would be roughly equal to all teams. Maybe he changed alot of the ocean to some crap land like tundra, ice and desert? We might not have that much land to expand to unless we want to settle crap land.

Isn't the correct solution regarding balancing barbs to reduce the number of land tiles, rather than adding extra crap land for everyone? Increasing the amount of spawning land just increases the chance that one civ will be unlucky and get landed with considerably more chance spawns than others.

But yes, fair point... it's possible there might be a certain amount of ice/tundra/desert on the map. I'd be surprised if that accounted for more than a few hundred tiles in total though. Even if ice/tundra/desert covered 50% of the land area, there'd still be 2868/2/9 = ~159 useable land tiles per player, which is still a very respectable amount. I don't think we're going to have to worry about settling crap land anytime soon.

Yes, you can do either a hidden link that's otherwise unrestricted (this is what we did for settings votes) or only open the doc to pre-approved people.

I already have the civstats password for all the teams, but unfortunately I don't have a email for the RB team and I'm somewhat reluctant to deliver it outside of a oficial channel ... Could you indicate me a way of delivering that said pass that is acceptable to to the RB team ?

I have already translated some excel into google docs and think I have a good start on a C&D document.

I grabbed regorrar/darryl/sunrise's PB3 sheet and added in Sulla's pop tracking format from PB2. I added in my own GNP (known-civ-with-tech) calculation page for learning how many civs have which techs.

very preliminary TODO: ( would appreciate the help)

1) create LAND tab for tracking land points
2) create WONDER tab for tracking wonder points
3) tie POP,TECH,LAND,WONDER pages together into the SCORE tab - so instead of tracking score manually, the tracking on those 4 pages rolls into the SCORE tab
4) create a POWER tracking tab
5) create an espionage-based tab (i.e. hammers in cities, etc.)
6) Add "subturn" column to the DEMO tab. This would allow us to sample demos multiple times per turn. Right now, there is only 1 row per turn available.

We could easily restrict access to people with google logins, but i'd need a list of them. Or we could restrict it to the RB GMAIL account.
