Ventrillo down?

The Ventrilo service is not functioning. The server pings but the service doesn't acknowledge the client. Thenryb and I have the same experience.

This notification is to let you know in advance that your Chicago, IL
IP address will be changing effective immediately. All old IP address
space will no longer be usable on January 21, 2008. Please begin
utilizing this new IP address for your voice services, both servers
will remain online until the cut-off date allowing you ample time to
get your users moved over to this new IP.

If you currently use V48.DARKSTARLLC.COM as your Hostname, we have
already updated our DNS servers to reflect this new IP address
change, some of your users may connect using the old DNS if their ISP
has not yet updated their cache, if this is the case please use the
new IP listed below for your account until the DNS has fully
propagated throughout the internet.

Your Current Hostname is: V48.DARKSTARLLC.COM
Your OLD IP Address is: 216.86.157.126
Your NEW IP Address is: 216.6.224.86

Your Port 4698 will remain the same as usual.

I logged in tonight and heard Shadow, and a couple of voices with southern accents (I think it was Thenry, the volume came and went) and then I had to be off.

Hope someone heard my check in.

We could hear you checking in-ventrilo was working at the time. I am not sure when it stopped working but I noticed it was not when I exited game.

We had a five-player group mangle a rough attempt at a Magus Stones vanquish in Guild Wars earlier and nobody could access the RB Ventrilo chanel. Some Death Penalty got racked up pretty fast without voice communications for me to boss people around with.

PS. Courin's Gwen needs to learn how to resurrect properly and Hawkmoon's Dunkoro should eat more porridge.

Web Server Outage Updates
Last Updated: 2:00 AM CST -- Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.

Just to let everyone know -- we will begin restoring user data for web sites tomorrow evening at 11 PM CST. We'll try to start before then -- but we're documenting the entire process for our technicians to ensure the restoration goes as smoothly as possible. If you *HAPPEN* to have a backup of your site that you created -- we can restore it *IMMEDIATELY* -- as it's as simple as uploading it and restoring, and will make our life much easier. Our backups -- not as easy to restore and more complicated -- which is why we are documenting the process for our technicians.

Also -- just to let everyone know, you will need to re-create any e-mail accounts / ftp accounts that you had made in Siteworx prior. We're working on a way to snapshot those in the nightly backups as well, but haven't been able to as of yet. Every thing else (Databases, / directory) can be restored! We appreciate your patience.
