I disagree. The skill of this scenario is to maximise points, ie to figure out how to acheive multiple victories in the same turn. Your post has explained how to get conquest + domination. Jabah's post explained the two diplomatic victories. People who figure these out by themselves would get annoyed about the information being spoiled to other people. This is going to turn out like the Mao's Muse adventure, where your post took most of the fun out of choosing a tech.

It is my understanding that the AP expires when the builder learns Mass Media. So, technically, it is possible to have both active at the same time. Getting a vote passed through both on the same turn would be more difficult ![lol lol](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif) .
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Guys / Gals - can we limit the posts to clarification of my stupid rules and (maybe) links to discussions of game mechanics. I think that 'how to' or 'this is what I am planning' are spoilers and should be edited by the posters.

Dang it, I was hoping I was the only one who realized this.

Wow! Thank you Darrell and thank you Voice. Exactly the information I was looking for and hoping to find.
I agree with sooooo though. If you tell people how to do it, where's the fun in figuring it out?
That said, here's how I plan to use this info to acheive 9 8) victories on the same turn! First, it is critical that... <post censored because poster is a confabulating blowhard>.

Realms Beyond has never once been about jealously guarding knowledge of the game mechanics. The game rules are the common ground by which our community exists. They're meant to be out in the open and shared by everyone. In the days of Beyond Naked Mages in Diablo, no one would ever have considered for a second hiding information like the "of Thieves" bug, just to pick an example. In the earlier days of Civ 4, nobody would ever have thought to conceal how to perform a Civil Service slingshot. There is no secret tech at RB.
Under Sirian's stewardship, no Epics event was ever meant to turn on a remote point of the game rules. A few did anyway, like my treatment of Civ 3 Epic 5, but that was never the goal and never made for a satisfying game and comparison of reports. Yet this one is designed to ride a third of a player's entire score (x36 to x49) on the supremely obscure and completely artificial loophole of having the AP and UN active at the same time.
That all said, I'm not likely to play this game, so I cease now and defer to the game sponsor's wishes. (That's the difference between this and the Mao's Muse thread, where the sponsor was supportive of the discussion.) I have edited my previous post. Have fun.

Huh, I think I won't pursue that stressing goal... so I think I will just play it like a normal game, for comparative purposes.

Have fun. ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) Sorry - just saw this. I'm not trying to squash discussion of game mechanics, rather just how to go about using them for this game. For the record, the AP vote comes up every 10 turns on normal speed. The UN vote comes up every 6 turns.
