Right, we haven't met them... And likely won't for a month or so to be honest.
Not sure what to do about the German team. I think I'm going to wander over to CFC and find whoever represented them there and start sending some PMs.

Ok, their team captain appears to be somebody named "pucc" so I sent him a PM. I also found another member of theirs that posted at CFC and tried to send him a PM too, but he apparently has the feature disabled. Anyways, it was just a basic message, and I asked if we had the correct email address for them (I'm sure we do, I triple checked the spelling and we got no delivery failure on the email).
If this doesn't work, we may want to try registering an account at their forums and PM them that way.

I have an account registered with German site and used in the early turns to poke them, when they ran the risk of missing a turn. I can pm there if needed.

That might be a good idea. How about this - if I don't have an email or PM response from them by tomorrow, you can poke them through there.

MH - if you want to contact them through their forum, that would be good now.

CFC chatted a bit with me when I logged into the game during the morning, unknown whom, but he or she was on European time (about to leave for work). Nothing of real consequence, but I said I was there to look over how it looked after the turn rolled.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

German team responded:
German Team Wrote:Hi RBs,
sorry for the delay.
We are located to the north of you. We would like to establish trading
routes between our countries. Do you already have a harbour city
ashore the eastern sea?
We also could use the river near our Quechua Hoffmann Helm.
In addition, we would be happy to sign a non-aggression treaty
effective until turn 150.
We could arrange our research such that both nation profit most from
the shadow bonus; Schattenforschungsbonus in german, how is it called
in the english community?
It's true, WPC is located to the east of us. And Apolyton came to our
country from the west.
greetings

Well then, immediately interested in signing a NAP until T150. I guess they aren't a part of that vicious dogpile that's forming on us right now.

Uh...do they mean western sea, or eastern river, or some eastern sea that we haven't discovered yet?
Not a fan of their suggestion with the known tech bonus. Mostly they'd be shadowing us and we'd be telling them exactly what we're researching. I would probably just ignore that part of the message when replying, at least until we get a NAP (I assume we do want a NAP for a longish period of time).
