I would wait on sending a message via diplo to them for now. The responses in the CFC game thread seem to be coming quickly, given the nature of this game. If we can get a clear majority of teams expressing displeasure at the Germans never ending their turn in that thread maybe we can get this settled by a vote outside the game rather than having to deal with any in-game or diplomatic fallout. I'd say for our diplomat to stay above the fray on this one, for now.

3:31 on the timer. 3:00 until the German team logs in and ends their turn.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Nah. 3:00 until they log in, log out, and don't end turn. Out of the 7 end of turns visible in CivStats, they were only logged in during two of them.
I think one way to handle it with the in-game diplo is that Scooter tells them that "several of his team members" and "some other teams" are starting to become angry with them, and that he's trying to tell them to have respect for the way the Germans play, but he's getting more and more alone in that.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

I was close ... it was 3:00 on the timer when the German team logged IN. Turn could roll any minute.

Provided they ended turn, which they didn't.
This game is developing into a most excellent farce right now. Might be funny to read about or look at, but not so much to be part of.

Thanks for the post over at CivFanatics. I think we'll be able to solve this by shortening the turn timer. Everyone else sounds just as frustrated as our team, and we weren't even the first ones to raise the issue.
German team is very clearly never going to end their turn, ever, so we'll simply have to shorten the turn timer. I have to conclude at this point that their team is trolling everyone. There's no way that anyone could be so clueless as to log in turn after turn with a few hours left, sit in there for 30+ minutes... and then log out again without ending turn. This despite repeated requests from everyone else to end turn. That has to be a troll job. There's no other explanation.

Here is something that might help ...

Remembering the pre-game discussions, I would not be surprised if half the teams are not even checking the CFC forums.
