Turns 64 & 65

Ichabod did have a defender in place when we opened the save.

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-susiedefended_zpsfd907b6a.jpg]

C&D shows that he built a 2k unit this last turn -- so either a galley or a warrior. Given his situation my guess is he built a warrior. But since our galley is needed elsewhere, and we've already inflicted a satisfactory amount of damage, I picked the warrior up in our galley and offered Ichabod peace. Let's see if he takes it.

More C&D work - Ruff picked up Hunting, and Ichabod likely picked up Writing. With population, Rego leads the way with 16 citizens, Ruff has 14, Scooter 13, and I've whipped myself down to 12. Ichabod is in the rear with 6.

Been another round of whipping, and we've lost our top food spot for it. (Technically we're still top food, but we're tied now, so civ gives us 2nd place.) Last turn I whipped a worker out of OAT, as it had reached size 5 and ran out of new tiles to work - after this we'll grow it to size 6 before whipping again.

Then this turn we whipped a granary to completion in R U OK. I'm think a library is next - by the time we finish the library I think we'll be wanting to run some scientist specialists for an academy in the capital. I'm also toying with the idea of bulbing Astronomy down the line with a pair of great scientists.

And our work boat continues to explore...

Ruff got circumnavigation last turn, so no prize left for that. He also gained 4k soldier points worth of units, so we may have the first resource unit built -- he does have horses hooked up and chariots are 4k soldier points.

The Worker Update!

This past turn we got our 5th worker out of OAT -- which means we once again have as many workers as cities!
What's crazy is that I'm having more trouble finding things for them to do. I think this means I need to grow more smile But I have also planned out my worker actions through around turn 75.

Worker #1
Rum Be None

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-rumbenone_zps005c301a.jpg]

This turn Rum Be None started a road on the fur tile and canceled it. Hunting finished for us at turn's end, so he'll camp the fur and then finish the road so OAT can grow to size 6 and stay happy. But on turn 71 I'm not sure what to do with him. Do we move him to the grass hill and chop the tree? Or do we move to the grass tile and cottage?

I think this depends on what we want to do with Hem Cover. One issue with the town is that it only has the cow for food - so if I want to mine both grass hills and work the fur I'll only be at +1fpt. So do we cottage the grass tiles and windmill the hills? Or should we mine the hills and farm the grassland come Civil Service. If we want to cottage, then I think a library is our next whip so we can expand borders and get all the grassland under our culture. If we want to farm and mine the hills -- where I'm leaning to right now -- then we should build a lighthouse after the vulture so the city can have 2 food tiles available to continue to grow (and a library after to pop borders).

Worker #2
Bowmen Rut

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-bowmenrut_zps3fce6ff4.jpg]

Bowmen Rut is farming the corn right now, and after that he's pretty much killing time until the galley gets to the north coast and the next settler is whipped out of R U OK. He'll complete the roads E of the city on t69, W of the city on t70, and then make a new road before boarding the galley with the settler on t73. Turn 74 they unload and on 75 we start pasturing the sheep.

Worker #3
There Me Burn

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-theremeburn_zpsb94708c6.jpg]

There Me Burn just finished chopping a forest into Sly Back Tire's granary. Next turn it will move to be S-S (2-2) of OAT and build a new cottage for when the capital hits size 6. Then it will move north and chop that forest to finish a library in OAT on turn 73. After that I'm not sure - probably will have There Me Burn team up with Snub Mixer to prep our 8th city. I'll have to revisit this as we get closer to turn 70.

Worker #4
Fun Be Rumor

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-funberumor_zpsd4a09a56.jpg]

We finished the copper mine last turn and started on a cottage 1 tile south of it this turn. After that finishes we'll move NW-NW and put a turn of a cottage into the grass tile, and then move south and build another riverside cottage.

Worker #5
Fur Men Vibe

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-furmenvibe_zps0c87fc56.jpg]

Our newest worker! Fur Men Vibe is chopping a forest for No Humble Lie's granary. Then it moves NE and builds a road and adds a cottage 1E of the capital. (Superfluous cottage - it may be better to skip the road and chop & mine the grass hill instead). Then the worker moves NE, joining our 7th settler in the east islands.

Worker #6
Snub Mixer

[Image: pbem45v-turn065-snubmixer_zpsad200b16.jpg]

And finally the worker that is about to be finished in No Humble Lie: Snub Mixer. This guy will finish the cottage N-N (8-8) of NHL and then build a cottage where NHL can share with the capital. An alternative is to mine the grass hill.

Well, half those worker plans are now changed lol
Noble built a sandbox and made some improvements.

I think for HC we should just mine-chop the grass hill and don't whip the granary. If we don't need to rush a vulture then we should just build the granary slowly at size 2 then work the GFH for a crappy 1/2 tile and build a lighthouse with the chop and subsequent mine. You yourself mentioned how food poor the city will be before we can farm at CS - I don't think whipping the granary is the way to go.

What do you think about building up some food at size 7 a few turns before going to the settler?

More people have been to Berlin than I have.

I'll give you the same hint I gave Noble smile
There Me Burn is the easiest to solve. Figure that one out and you'll have the key to the others.

Edit: You realize we have to anagram you now, right? smile

lol

'Chest Kit' or 'Sketch It' seem like good options.

There's a funnier option than that. lol
