Yeah I already have one.
Which means a Pitboss is another option.
I have to run.

Well, if you do go with the PBEM, I think a post regarding all known PBEM bugs might be in order. I was looking forward to seeing what Serdoa and Seven ended up doing (and mackoti if he posted more).

The same bug happened in 46; thankfully we were able to reload without issue. I'm told it happens when you save the turn half-way through. An advisory not to do so would probably be in order.

I was about to raze a city from Seven and Gaspar next turn respectively the turn after Not sure if I would have gone through on the attack on Seven though, I knew that his military was bigger than mine. On the other hand, I was on my way to Feudalism and probably would have made it before his army could have attacked. Still - I'd rather not make him move his army against me when mackoti is the better target.
@THH
Well, the issue is that on certain turns it is really hard not to save midway in, simply because it takes so long or you want to sim a battle a few times in a sandbox before you actually commit to it. Of course you can instead close the turn and try to redo everything exactly as you did before, but that has its own issues.
@novice
If you go with a PB I would like to play. I'm happy with a lower player number than what we normally have in PB. I'd also suggest using RB-Mod, but thats mostly because I think it makes more strategies viable.

I think there are issues with hosting 2 mod games at the same time on the same host machine.

I think I'd play a casual PB in the RB mod (maybe even without it) - random leaders, random civs - maybe Pangea with islands?
I'd also play an EitB (FfH) PBEM. I know Novice is proposing a BTS game, but I think it won't hurt to suggest. Maybe he is willing to try something different? :P

Depending on the setup, I'd probably be interested in ded lurking someone.

If you had wanted to random/random with or without RBmod, I'd be happy to roll 18 and pick the evenest nplayers, a la PB9.
