Had a look at the save and I am quite impressed. Shouldn't Pita get a granary soon? It is on the frontline so would benefit from faster re-growth if you needed to whip units (distinct possibility). I assume you have an Academy plannned for Leap (settled GS already + it is the capitol)? Or do you plan on settling the next 2 GS (or bulb/combination of settle+bulb)?
Do I remember correctly you plan on Calendar after Construction? Lots of Calendar resources..yum. Anyway, thanks for the peek..always nice to see how the best players manage their empires.

Thanks for the compliments.

Yeah, it's been stuck with a giant food surplus and low happy cap, so there have always been more useful things to whip, but you're right that it might have earned one soon. I did grow some granaryless cities to their happy cap and stick them on cottages earlier when my economy was tanked. So Wall and Fall also lack granaries. I'm whipping a settler in Wall for a city between my two island cities, consolidating my conquest. Then I'll probably let Wall stagnate and let the cities around it grow instead, as they will all have granaries and other infrastructure in place. Fall will get a granary once I can take it off wealth.

I don't really have a plan yet for my next gps. An Academy in Leap is a definite possibility, the math on settling vs. academy is pretty simple. Right now my slider is very low, so an Academy isn't worth that much. But the settled gsci helps, and I expect my economy to improve quite a lot by the time my next gsci pops. (I'm almost done expanding.) Long term Leap will be a very nice bureaucracy powerhouse.

Iron Working and then Calendar seems solid. Although tbh I'm amazed that Boldly still hasn't shown up with any triremes to harass me. I'm hoping I can delay Metal Casting until after Calendar.
I have to run.

Our GG lives! Time to promote to unlock West Point. dazed might have decided to save his worker instead.
And yep, zak founded a new city by the wheat. It's 1SW instead of 1N like I was expecting though.

Promote the GG to anti-siege, right?
I will point out though that it was his cover promotion that gave him odds on Dazed's archer.
I have to run.

Well having C3 would have been better odds. The -25% from Cover would be a lower actual multiplier because the archer had +100% bonus from the hill and city. Cyneheard's spreadsheet says 61.26% for C3 and 59.14% for C1/Cover.
Although we're really comparing C2 and Cover, in which case Cover was better, yeah.

Squeezed out construction.
Oh, and there are furs on the eastern island, so we'll be shipping a settler over there too.

No more wealth builds, so our GNP is less impressive right now. I'm completing two markets though and I'll be building Odeons and growing. Then probably back to wealth in some cities. Also, I'm hardly working any scientists right now.
Mash is building wealth in the form of Pyramids. If nobody's interested in the wonder we'll complete it about 15 turns from now. Otherwise, the city would be happy to build wealth anyway. Boldly hasn't popped an engineer yet and really needs to hurry if he's going to beat the great prophet points from his Oracle. He may be slowbuilding the wonder though, his MFG is very high.
City builds before ending turn above, demos after ending turn below.
I have to run.
