What about trading maps with the Germans? They've clearly been exploring the polar sea. It'd be interesting to see what they've found. (They've also sent units through our territory and we've traded our maps to other teams so we wouldn't be giving away anything critical.)

Sure, that sounds like a good idea.

Since we have visibility on every German city, and we have our own ship sailing in the polar ocean, I don't see much of a benefit in trading maps with them.

But is there any loss?
Our maps are already in the public domain, so we can only gain from such an exchange (so long as WPC doesn't find out).

Retrading for known maps still has value - you get an updated look at tiles and improvements and any new cities.

We probably should get an answer to Apolyton relatively fast, at least so we can tie down the NAP before we turn the WC westwards.

We also got an in-game offer from CFC about the marble - right when we don't need it anymore. But at least that tells us they're not planning for the NE or HE right now. I think we should grab it next turn, so we can delay their NE and HE for as long a time as possible.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

Quote:Hi Scooter

As you might have noticed, the Spaniards have finally agreed to peace and we were able to connect our marble! We would like to gift it to you now as per our agreement. We currently don't need it but we would like to start on our own Epics in about ten turns. We have offered it in game so please ask your turnplayer to accept it.
Thanks,

Caledorn / Team CFC

I see no need to have two sources. Just to inconvenience CFC, say that we will take the offered marble per our deal in X turns when we have need of it. Whenever our deal with Inca is finished
