[SPOILERS] DaveV: The vampire bites! Goodbye level 9.
|
Turn 8: the scout uses the lake to reveal a bunch of terribad terrain to the north. The worker starts farming the wheat. Next turn I'll switch the capital production to a bloodpet, and grow to size 4 while building it.
After a boring turn 9, turn 10 saw the scout poke his nose outside the borders again. He found a resource tile, and there was much rejoicing. Animal Husbandry is looking like a very good pick for next tech, and my first two cities will probably be at A and B.
Demographics are unchanged, so no one has lost any scouting units yet.
Turn 11: the scout moves back to the capital in preparation for revealing a couple more tiles to the SW. The farm competes, my crop yeild goes through the roof, and Thoth has lost one of his scouts.
Turn 12: more baby steps. The worker finishes the road, then he'll put two turns into a farm north of the capital. gtAngel and Kyan finished warriors; is Ichabod building a second worker?
Turn 13: my scout pokes his nose out to the southwest and finds ... nothing interesting.
Demographics: for some reason, I was making this more complicated than it had to be. Three people grew to size 2, changing their power from last turn's 8, 8, 6 to 9, 9, 7. Ichabod must have built his warrior, moving him from 7 to 10. 10, 9, 9, 6 gives exactly the right average.
Thoth's scout scampered off into the darkness. I hope he won't be back to bother me again. Ideally, a bear will eat him.
Crafting is complete, so I started working on my winery. I'm covering the worker with a warrior in case a scout comes charging in from the fog. More changes in demos; apparently Ichabod lost one of his warriors, since I'm alone with top power. The average power has gone down by exactly 3/4, so no losses for anyone else. Other big news: Thoth has grown to size 3. His naming theme is apparently based on the Mackenzie brothers skit.
How do you know it's not Canadian stereotypes??
