Looks like both Mack and Commodore took hits on power, without Civstats there's no way of knowing what happened beyond that ![]() Also I'm assigning a lot of the power increases recently to Iron working for Smack and Maths for LAM, so maybe we don't need to panic quite so much... Back to settlers and workers please!

By the way THH, looks like you need to get a lot more workers off HAK, still some cities (thanks to hanging gardens) with too many people for the improved tiles...

Yeah, that's another one of the reasons why I'm building more workers in Mt Loon and Big Foot. Only have those military in the queue at the other cities just in case RMOG does something unpredictable with that War Chariot or if he has more than just that one nearby. Also, now that I've whipped Asylum and those other new cities still are young, I want them to grow a bit more before doing workers again.
Asylum will be able to do another worker immediately after that next Spear, since it'll grow & build the spear on the same turn. And then will need to stay at that population while the whipping unhappy dissipates.
Yeah, my instinct says peaceful builds, too, but thankfully that's mostly what we had decided on anyway for my civ.
Good turn for us. RMOG didn't take the bait and kill my Dog, but they also moved the War Chariot to exactly the spot I was hoping they would. Right in range for me to insta-road and kill it:
Ending turn, I got out another down in Big Foot (I had whipped it last turn), finished the Barracks in Mt Loon, and Aslylum's borders expanded. Next turn, I'll get 3 more workers due to the various overflows and all that. So I'll be able to send another couple workers over to THH soon. I just sent him a Worker & Archer this turn. Once he's healed up, I'll send my Spear/Dog up north to keep watch on the jungles.
I took a look around THH's stuff too. Everything looks fine being the way it is with builds and such, but I believe Calcar Ridge should switch this turn to something else so that it grows. Then next turn it would still finish the settler. Right now it's at 15 hammers shy of being completed, and with no changes he'd only get 14 hammers output this turn. If he puts a turn into something else to grow, next turn he'll have more than enough hammers to still complete the Settler.
Also with us both going 100% research next turn, and then 50% on the following turn, there's a good chance we should be able to finish Monarchy. Or at the very least, finish it halfway through the following turn. Then we can move on to Currency.
