What do you guys think the risk is of LAM settling up on us to steal the horses? It'd be a crappy city, on a flatland, and liable to instantaneous attack from within our borders. I'm wondering if we might be safe settling on the original "Must Reach" tile.

Also, if the turn doesn't roll within the next few minutes, I might be in bed. I have started a new job: I will not be able to play in the day tomorrow, and my evening is busy. If the turn doesn't roll, can someone play for me? I think everything's pretty self-explanatory except this settlement decision. Remember to run the slider up as much as possible.
I'm quickly playing my turn before running off to work, but I'm gonna be a little late as it is. Old Harry (or someone) can you play THH's turn sometime today? You can grab me on chat at any point if you want to discuss stuff.
I could play in 8 hours or so if needed?

I was able to squeeze in some time to quickly play the turn. No big updates right now, since I don't have time to spend on the forum. But we did get Monarchy this turn. Next turn I think THH should revolt to HR. He should be doing so either next turn or the turn after anyway (before the settler makes the city), and if he doesn't do it next turn one of his cities (that one on the center lake) will grow into unhappy.
I've started moving much of his military westward towards those hills from Calcar Ridge. I an now mostly convinced by the others that we should do that plains hill right next to the horses. Just too much of a chance that LAM will try to snag the horses by settling next to it themselves. Plus since it's a PH, it'll give that city nice internal production. Btw, I just noticed that Calcar Ridge also got Hinduism spread to it the same time that it spread to my city of Madhouse. So that gives us a combined 4 cities that have Hinduism in them without the use of missionaries. :D
This picture sums up the turn:
![]() (My name is Caleb if you haven't figured it out yet and are confused.) HAK added settlers to the queues of Verrieres Ridge and Courcelette for after the libraries, to send to him. He's promised me more workers. Sorry I've been a little quiet in the discussions this week; like I said, I started a new job this week with near-full-time hours and it's been an adjustment. I've probably overextended myself with games on this site, though they weren't too much while I was in school. Maybe the other players will surrender in pbem 46 and I'll be able to scratch one off the list (hint, hint, Old Harry ... just kidding ![]()
What? You think you stand a chance in 46?
![]() By the way, when the whip counter gets to 7 swap the settlers ahead of the libraries so you can whip them the next turn... you don't want to whip the libraries as they let you regrow.
