So rather than just jump into another long NAP that only serves the purpose of giving you guys a more secure hold on the lead, we want to think about options that will serve our goal of making us more competitive for the lead.

Great, we've offered the ivory trade so hopefully you can put that to good use.

Our NAP with CFC goes until T175, so we definitely can't join before then. We can't make any promises about joining at T175 either because we can't do that unless all our borders are secure. We are concerned about other teams attacking us at T175, so unfortunately we can't give you an answer anytime soon. In the meantime, let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you guys!

Hello,

I can answer about the German team diplo.
14 days ago they sent a message that "they have noticed our increase in power, and would like to smoke a peace pipe".
We just said to them that we are modernizing our army and garrisoning all borders. Obviously peace was not an option.
Basically I said "Go away, we have no interest in talking to you" to them in more ...ahem... diplomatic way.
We have not heard from the German team after that.

I think they know our nation will attack them at some point, but I think we can catch them by surprise with the speed and strength of our attack. We've just entered a golden age before the attack to give a last boost to our efforts.

Thanks for the info on German communication, that helps. I've got another (possibly odd) question for you guys, but I hope you don't mind. Has CFC or any of our neighbors approached you guys about helping out in a war against our team? We have reason to believe CFC intends to declare war on us sometime around T175, and I don't think they'd be willing to try that if they didn't have help. Have you heard of anything along that line?

Just figured it was worth asking since I trust your team, and it's difficult to find people to trust this late in the game.

Could be a good idea if you could consider sending just a couple of
good units for a gift and do it, the gift in a place where CFC could
see this.... This will send the message to CFC we are not alone and
thecnicaly wil not brake you NAP with them as we are still in peace.
We understand this may be just to further of what you could done for
us... and also, take in advice CFC you may had bad intensions with
them....

Hey guys, are you interested in extending our NAP until T190? T170 is not that far away, and I see a lot of conflict coming in the future to just about everyone. I think we'd both sleep better at night knowing we had another team nearby that we were safe from. What's your thoughts?

I mean does the last tun included or not..

scooter: oh yeah, that's always sticky. I usually interpret a "T100 NAP" to mean ending on T100, unless explicitly specified.
in past games I've played I've said "NAP through T100 inclusive" or something if it was necessary to include that turn

scooter: Are you asking about the NAP between us that currently runs through T170?

yeah, I was just curious if we were the only ones they didn't write to very much, but I guess not
we haven't sent much to them, but when we do send them a message they respond maybe 1/3 of the time haha
Apolyton: ok let1s stick to that then. about extension, I would like to hear more opinion on it, and it could take a few more days, but as the game progresses we won't reach t170 in this month anyway
scooter: sounds great. if your team agrees to extend it, let me know if you'd prefer the final turn to be inclusive or not. we are fine with either, so long as we know which it is
