WW25 - Game Thread

Simply based on my takes on MJW playstyle. He's less crazy when he's a wolf, rather, his craziness seems more contrived, like it's fake. Besides, he spells the names correctly more frequently when he's a wolf. Finally, I find him explaining his plays and taking longer to answer things as out of village character.

Sum it all up and I think there's a very high chance he's a wolf.

Oh, screw you. There's not been much of anything interesting happening so my (in)sanity cannot show thorugh. And I think my style has changed. I'm much less crazy then in ww2. In the tasunke game the only "mjw" thing I did was roleclaim an uber-powerrole while under pressure.

The only other noteable this in the above string of posts is Jowy struggling to find a way to vote someone. This is not too strange as new players have a hard time being aggersive and voting.

Jowy: Posting a decent amount but merely diddity-dallying.

Sorry, I tend to have difficulty posting while at work (before first post), at a party (between 2nd and third) and while asleep (between third and now)...

Uberfish it is very easy to see my reasoning and you should see it.

1. Serdoa posted that the sanity is 20.
2. People said that Brick said that the sanity is neutral.
3. That means there has to be maxs and mins to be a middle. The most natural min by far is zero.
4. Taking 2&3 together the most natural max is 40.

As I've said before, I follow this reasoning, but disagree with it. My first impression was something like life total in Magic: The Gathering. Starts at 20, is most likely going to drop, but there are some ways to increase it - with no cap if you can manage to increase it sufficiently. BRick's indication that he will lose the post restriction if sanity rises or falls would seem to favour interpretations along the lines of yours, though.

I'd like to clarify that my vote for you was not in relation to your argument that 40 is the max, but your assertion of a binary choice between a) 40 is the sanity cap and b) BRick is wolf, when we clearly do not have enough information to reduce possible options that far.

I'm seeing a good amount of sense slowcheetah's attack on pindicator. There has been little actual content to his posts, but a lot of prompting others for opinions. That specific combination tends to be a good indication of a wolf fishing for reasons to justify their vote.

However, I feel Jowy is more likely to be wolf, for pretty much the exact reasons mentioned by Lewwyn:

I'm still voting Jowy though. I think his style came under fire and he tried to change it but he changed it by trying to go weirder to play up the idea that he was playing a different style. Jowy claims this is a villager tactic, but I think its wolfy to take things to extremes that he is currently taking them by speaking in verse. Don't be fooled.

In addition, I'm yet to see one Jowy post that actually makes arguments for someone's guilt or innocence, rather than poor, entirely lacking capitalisation and punctuation, attempts to analyse BRick's restriction or 'defend' himself with non sequiturs.
Jowy's position on the MJW wagon is also proof enough for me that we probably don't want to be lynching MJW today.

Matt it is not how often you post but what you post when you find time. For example this 3rd post of yours. After hours of silence (you claim being on a party) and before another long stretch of silence (your being asleep) all we got is that useless post?

Pindicator, I didn't understand what Brick was trying to say there so I just decided to ignore it. We're spending enough time trying to decode his posts as it is. And I figured there was a decent chance he was actually trying to say "please ignore me and go wolf hunting instead".

I'm a little uneasy about Uberfish. His WIFOM advice to Jowy didn't sit quite right with me.

About Jowy, I would say that being weird on day one is pretty typical for a noob villager. Being quiet is more typical for a noob wolf. But please try to be less cryptic, Jowy. Just give us your honest thoughts, not that "remember this lesson" BS.
