WW25 - Game Thread

Simply based on my takes on MJW playstyle. He's less crazy when he's a wolf, rather, his craziness seems more contrived, like it's fake. Besides, he spells the names correctly more frequently when he's a wolf. Finally, I find him explaining his plays and taking longer to answer things as out of village character.

Sum it all up and I think there's a very high chance he's a wolf.

Oh, screw you. There's not been much of anything interesting happening so my (in)sanity cannot show thorugh. And I think my style has changed. I'm much less crazy then in ww2. In the tasunke game the only "mjw" thing I did was roleclaim an uber-powerrole while under pressure.

The only other noteable this in the above string of posts is Jowy struggling to find a way to vote someone. This is not too strange as new players have a hard time being aggersive and voting.

I still think you have a very high chance of being a wolf. Your last posts make me a little less sure, because they were made on what appears to be a read and quote/answer way. It'd be way more suspect if you showed up already knowing all the posts (which would imply you've read the thread and took your time to answer due to need of planning/seeing developments, which are wolf tactics).

That being said, I have fun reading your posts, so I'll let you slide for now (it's that + the fact you won't get lynched anyway).

Having said that, I also agree that MJW needs to improve second Alfred of the day if he is in fact village.

Matt it is not how often you post but what you post when you find time. For example this 3rd post of yours. After hours of silence (you claim being on a party) and before another long stretch of silence (your being asleep) all we got is that useless post?

Jowy's position on the MJW wagon is also proof enough for me that we probably don't want to be lynching MJW today.

Yes absolutely. Which makes me question Ichabods motives. Especially as he has not explained his pindi vote at all.

Looking through the case against Ichabod is interesting as well. I believe it was Rowain who stated that his last vote for pindicator had no reasoning:

If he's a wolf it's cleverer then that. The message is confusing, there are multiple different interpretations of the image, and no thorough explanation. Therefore:

1) Ichabod's posts encourages people to look back at pindicators posts
2) If something suspicious springs out they are more likely to come to the conclusion that is what the picture meant and agree with Ichabod.

As I type this I realise that occams razor suggest it more likely the Ichabod also wanted to have fun with pictures. He also feels more like villager Ichabod than the long, wordy wolfabod I played with once.

For both of you, be known, I'll explain my votes when I feel it'll be beneficial to the village. If I don't see the benefit, I won't.

Uberfish because he believes Brick's sanity based claim but concludes that MJW is the wolf. Just seems incongruent.

Novice must have read my posts out of order to come up with this one, since people explained the brick sanity thing to me after my initial MJW vote (when I hadn't caught onto brick's claim at all), at which point I unvoted. I think this sequence/thought process was clear to most people, for example Jkaen commented on it.

Now, novice probably is telling the truth about having limited time to browse the forum, but the expected behaviour of people reading a WW thread with limited time would be to make one and only one pass straight through. So I think a likely sequence of events in this case is

1) Novice sees zak say he doesn't like one of my posts and opportunistically votes me
2) Novice checks back and sees that no one else follows him so now feels he has to justify the vote
3) Novice reads my posts out of order because he doesn't have much time and needs to quickly find some posts by me

Ichabod, don't be cryptic. Tell us your reasoning. I do not understand how you swapped at that post that was quoted. You were voting against MJW, same as me, but then Brick made that post and you voted me, and the reasoning is not clear.

I don't think this sounds like a very likely sequence of events. So I agree with Ichabod that this is a weak post.

I should add that I have a feeling Novice may have missed the part where Uberfish said that he misunderstood Brick because some of his pictures hadn't loaded. Novice didn't say that he had read all of the thread. It's possible that he just voted based on impressions from the first half of the day.

We're running low on time, I suppose. Between Jowy & Slowcheetah I definitely think Jowy has done the worse job explaining himself. Slowcheetah sounds villager to me with his last string of posts. Not that I think he's right with his conclusions, but I can see his reactions as being village.
