Looking at your screens you have 23917 soldiers on t64 and 22271 on t63 which according to Adam Riese (and Gustav Zwerg) means the difference is 1646 points.

Ok, ok. smoke

The point still stands, though.

And to help (as much as that helps) with the military score:

According to the info in this thread

the soldier points is 2000*n^0.5 n being the sum of soldier value of all units.

This soldier value is ~ (1.15 * combat strength) ^ 1.5 but some promotions and the unitlevel to alter it considerably. And health does also influence it. To make it absolutely easy the Civ's gold amount influence it too.

The full formula is posted here. Good Luck by using it smile

Holy heck. scared

I wonder why the developers lost time divinating such a formula, instead of fixing bugs and interface issues. What's the problem with a simple, pre-fixated unit power?

Speaking of interface issues, is there a way to see how much overflow a certain build is receiving? I don't seem to find that info, so I need to write down how much overflow I'm putting from one build into the other, when that info could be relevant.

One stated goal of the devs was to keep the players as much in the blind as possible. So you can get an approximation of military power but nothing useful out of it. Quite like the diplo-information.

Yet the much more useful GNP, CY and MFG numbers are perfectly clear (and they actually say who's the rival best and worst). Not to mention the free C&D that you get by checking the Tech Tree.

They can't even hide info properly... lol

Well no, it says who is the overall best and worst, which includes you. So half the time one of the two numbers is useless.

That's true.

Received the save. I don't have time to play it yet, but I could take a look. I decided who I'm going to attack, it'll be Serdoa. I'll explain my reasoning later.
