To Do List!

It might be an idea (taken from Wyrm's example) to openly discuss what we're all currently aiming at doing in GW to better help facilitate co-op opportunities.

* DoA - Aarda is ready for Mallyx and I'm interested in getting other characters ready for him as well!

* Survivor - I've recently made a Rit and a Paragon (I figure one's bound to die along the way) I'm going to be aiming for survivor on. I think it's a good opportunity for me to indulge in all the side quests of Cantha and Elona that I've previously mostly neglected. So far my Rit is taking precedence and has done all the Kaineng city quests up to Naipui.

* I need Gate of Madness and Gate of Pain for Guardian of Elona and a bunch (Tahnnakai, Sunjiang, Arborstone, Boreas, Imperial, Gyala, Eternal Grove) of the Factions missions for Cantha.

* Kammy is slowly working through the eotn missions in normal mode with Materia's monk Ariel (unless I've been left behind suddenly). We've done the Norn and are planning on doing the Asuran missions next.

* I've liked the few vanquishes I've done, so would be interested in joining people on those if they ever want the company. Probably not in Prophecies though.

* PvP - Well I've liked getting into PvP. I'm really not very good yet though. Farming GvG zaishen day with minimum effort required Searing Flames Ele's is turning out to be really financially rewarding though.

* Dragon Arena - I don't know where I'll be in December or January or whenever this comes around again but by god I'll be taking time off of whatever I'm up to and not sleeping!

I always prefer playing with others to playing alone, so if any of that interests anyone then let me know either here or in game.

I'm pushing for Mallyx on Sunday afternoon (midday-ish for you). Xyn will likely be up for it and knowing our recent build plans I'd say we'll be doing our spirit battery trio again.

That reminds me. We'll probably have a couple of copies of Great Dwarf Weapon and I'm wondering how well that synergizes with Triple Shot...

My necromancer is the one going for titles for me. She still has most of Vabbi and the Desolation to vanquish, a lot of elites to capture, lightbringer to max, and needs to figure out what she's still missing for explorer titles. She also needs to finish most of the dungeons in EotN in normal mode.

My monk has access to Mallyx from way back when we were working on that; I haven't beaten him (or even faced him) yet with anyone.

I still need to charm a black widow spider (and get a jingle bear once Christmas rolls around) to fill out my menagerie, so I'm up for some Underworld. I also have never completely finished the Underworld.

I just got up to R9 Luxon over the weekend. I'm torn on whether to try to max it. I'd never planned on going past R8, and the investment required for the last few looks daunting. I'd be happy to put some effort toward it, though, if others are doing the same, either through vanquishing or AB.

AB's my favorite PvP form, since it doesn't take much more than PvE. I enjoyed GvG a lot when we were doing it regularly a couple years back, but I'm rusty now, and a little frustrated by GvG monking. HA has been good when we've had an expert guest calling the shots, but I feel out of my element there for the most part, and I've never had much success in the arenas. I'm almost always up for AB and usually for GvG, and I can join in on the others if I'm not doing anything or if I'm really needed.

I'll happily join anyone for HM missions, dungeons or vanquishes on my other characters, though I won't be going for the relevant titles on any of them.

GWAMM completion with Mune. Need party/drunkard/sweet titles plus another.

MQSC - if i can use this to max out luxon, that'd give Mune his 30th maxed title.

UW clear - last area I need to complete with Mune for HoM statue.

GvG - i'll do this if I can just pretty much jump in and go. Unfortunately, no more pvp slot, so I have to use pve characters.

Nicholas the Traveler - i like opening the gifts

AB - I always love this

Everything else is random.

DoA, you guys tend to do when I'm not around, so I have no one ready for that.

Duncan HM - my monk is ready, my rit is ready or close to it. My ele needs it in NM.

Vaquishes/HM missions - If I'm doing nothing, i'll vanquish with people if they ask and i have the time, same with HM missions.

Zaishen quests - depends on the rewards and the quest.

Vort, you can pick up a jinglebear from anyone that has completed those holiday quests from last year. They always have a jingle bear outside the Eye of the North.

There's also several of us in presear farming gifts there and/or doing LDoA...and I gave up my pvp slot.

My monk, Rye Tchuss, (whom you nearly always see me playing) is the one going for titles for me. Currently, I'm trying to finish Guardian of Tyria (7 maxed titles when I'm done with that - you see how far I lag behind Seijin, Courin and Mucco??!!). He needs to Vanquish a whole bunch of areas, so I'd almost always be up for that. I've decided, however, that I do not have the patience to go after the Drunkard title, so I'm more than willing to send my booze over Seijin or WB's way. :rolleyes:

Several of us (myself as Rye, Fox, Xyn and Jude) managed to kill Mallyx last Saturday. My dervish is the only other character currently ready for Mallyx, but I'd be happy to get my paragon ready for him - he's done a couple of the DoA areas (forget which).

I like doing the Zaishen missions and bounties (and combat sometimes too); I'm usually up for any of those.

On PvP, I'm with Vort - I think AB (or Jade Quarry) are my favorites, because it's easier to just jump into them. I'm very very rusty on GvG monking, though I did have fun with it when we were doing it on a more regular basis. The problem with it and HA is that when left to our own devices, we tend to lose consistently and fast, and that becomes discouraging in short order.

I do have a ranger who has reached Survivor status in Elona, but he's pretty far away from Legendary (or even Indomitable). I'd be willing to team up if that's practical (continent-wise).

My Ranger is chasing all the titles for me.....currently working on Elona/Tyria Carto and Vanqs.....that will take me up to 25. Also working on Luxon, Master of the North, Party Animal, Sweet Tooth........and undecided for 30th????

With the exception of my necro, everyone else is trying to get through NF. My Mesmer and Para also need Factions. My baby Sin is still stuck in Shing Jea.......I'll get back to her sometime. My Rit, Sin, and Para will need Proph at some point too I guess.......

To support my title habit, Don't Call Me Courin is collecting presents in PreSearing, while also chasing LDoA.....

I have at least one char ready for Duncan HM, and would like to get my necro ready for Mallyx.........haven't done any of the prereqs though, so would be up for that..

I'm almost always able to be convinced into GvG, HA, or AB as well.

My main is my ranger, Aurora. She's up to Mallyx, and wants to do him. She's never beaten teh 4 horsemen or The Deep, and would like to finish those areas with a good team [NM or HM].

She is one skill cap away from Legendary Skill Capper [2 titles: Elona + Legendary] and about ~10 HM missions away from Legendary Guardian [4 titles]. After that, it's time to start vanquishing, HM dungeons, and money titles I guess.

The problem I have is for long runs like vanqing snakedance, doing the deep, or running a hm dungeon, I pretty much need to do them during teh day on the weekend and I need to get started aroudn the time my fiancee leaves for work to have a chance to finish before she gets home. Weekday nights I'm whipped and going afk at random to hang with her.

So timing will always be a challenge for me, but I'm up for grouping when I can.
