WW25 - Game Thread

I am a priest. My ability is turn undead. If I target undead they die. If I target a living being they live. If an undead attacks my target my target lives. My ability does not mention wolves so I assume wolves wont die and wolves won't be blocked.

Now I expected there to be a vig with similar abilities only targeting wolves, but I realized somethin: what if there are. No wolves. What if Serdoa dying at the beginning of the game indicated that we were the wolves. Ie: a werewolf village? Doesn't the mayor or a villager die at the beginning of the game?

Anyway that's what I do.

Did you target someone last night?

My top scum suspects are Zak and Jkaen. I also think either brick or über could be lying but still need to hear from uber. I'd also like to hear from Matt about who he followed last night.

For now though Jkaen has done nothing to make him less scummy. In fact I think he bussed novice yesterday. Novice protested that Jkaen was scum hopping on and I think that was intentional.

Shouldn't you tell us who you targeted? That may clear someone if you were the one who blocked the night kill

Not to mention people you targeted would be cleared as "not undead" which sorta clears them a la seer. There should be no reason to not list them at this point I would think.

Matt, please wait for Lewwyn to answer the question before giving any info.

I have an ability that returns flavour information on target (specifically stated as "not a seer"), reduces the sanity counter by 2, and powers me up by using it.

Ironically, I used it on Brick last night, and it returned "learns at day, fires at night" which supports his claim to be a gunmaker's apprentice and have a vigilante type ability. I guess he can still be a wolf vig, but at least he's cleard of

Not sure what to make of Lewwyn's claim now. I don't have a target type restriction for my kill.

...Too tired. I'll sleep on it.

Have you used it any other nights? What was the result?

Based on metagaming the sanity mechanic I'm wagering money on you not having used it at all so far.

uh, OK? Though given he he's previously demonstrated an ability that didn't kill someone, I'm not sure it's going to be possible to trap him in a falsehood, even if I tracked someone relevant. He can just claim he went after whoever he did actually go after...

Is there a reason you mentioned 'humans' as not being killed by your ability, rather than more accurately saying the only thing adversely affected was undead? Trying to bait wolves to hit you, or did you think it was single-faction scum back then as well?

Well, you know he didn't kill someone night 2 because you followed him. What I don't get is why he doesn't respond to answering who he visited last night, and perhaps there is some reason why that would be? It just seems funny for him to withhold that info and then ignore requests for it, so that makes me wary.

Plus it comes out neat if he reveals and then after you confirm his night 2 target.
