I guess I didn't word that well enough - I'm looking for # of turns of whip anger for #1

Then 104 turns of unhappy.
Yeah, I'm not happy about my past behaviour either. shakehead

Looks like the end is finally near, although I'm quite certain we've both been saying that for a couple hundred turns, and we continually get proven wrong. I'm all in favor of settling on some crappy island and letting Commodore deal with the WW. Hopefully in the meantime Bigger will hurry up and call the dang game already so we can say we survived to the end.

1) 113 turns (Sid's)
2) 62 empire wide

Didn't put up a report with the last turn, but I think Commodore makes his move next turn. He has 13 galleons and 21 frigates, and if he dallies a few turns we're going to have a decent shot at sinking his fleet. If he moves next turn I have to decide between:

1) Attacking and hope we get lucky
2) Pulling everything back and just trying to inflict as much damage as possible before the end.

I suppose there's also playing for time, but I don't expect Bigger to have a change of heart any time soon...

Tentatively in favor of #1, although I don't really know what that entails. We'll probably get another GG...

Any movement from plako's front?

Here's what I mean about plako

And technically all the plako talk has been on the same turn. It's just this turn has gone on for a while now what with plako moving those things at the beginning of the turn and us having a pause for Bigger.

I thought about dumping more units into Skippers instead of bringing them along with our settler. But really if plako wants to invade then I figure we do our best German impersonation and continue to throw everything at Commodore

Ducked in to pause the game again for Bigger (we're always waiting on Bigger, heh), and did a quick count of what we have available should Commodore move in. If he moves south, we'll have 26 frigates, 2 privateers, and 5 galleons that can strike the suspected tile. 6 of those frigates are C2, the rest are C1. If he moves north we'll have 28 frigates, 2 privateers and 5 galleons.

Likely if he moves south he will have 21 frigates, 2 privateers, and 13 galleons. So I think we attack if he goes south. We may just sink some galleons if we do.

If he waits a turn we'll have near 30 frigates to hit his stack going either way

Edit: I really think he's goign to move south next turn... Okay, I'm going to dry whip another frigate in our capital. It's gonna be costly, but I really think he's going to move south next turn and a frigate from the capital will be able to hit that spot he would fork us from.

Edit #2: Okay, I was able to hire enough priests and engineers to 1-turn a privateer instead. I think that is better and we can always dry whip next turn if we need to.
