Didn't we lose horses? Guilds is fine (grocers) but HBR without horses isn't necessary.

we have one source of horses in the middle of our empire. since he wasn't building chariots I just last turn had him send the horse to me so I can make a few more. I think engineering may be more important for us though. extra movement and pikemen to battle RMOG knights if they start showing up. since once nakor secures his iron we can both build them.
and the movement is key for me right now in getting units to the front.

Okay, Engineering it is.

I kept meaning to do so but now I'm away until Tuesday night so won't have time. ..can Nakor or anyone else who wants to log into my civ do a nice full report of stuff going on? we just hit T100.
I will have time for the turns. just not for lots of screenshots.

Was able to take a couple screenshots when I quickly played the turn just now. This is certainly going to get tough as they got quite a bit in the city now. I've started bombarding the defenses, and will need to do another round next turn, before I can even attempt to possibly attack the following turn. Which means there will probably be at least a few more units in it by then as well. I'm actually hoping he attacks with his two catapults next turn giving me a turn of time to heal before I might want to attack, though he'll probably do so after the turn I get his defenses to 0%.
I'm not building Macemen in all my cities, but they'll probably come a little too little too late. I'm really hoping I don't have to retreat before I get a few Macemen up there. I may have to keep everything fortified in place until I get 2 or 3 Mace up there though.

Right now I haven't put any promotions at all on my Longbows (who all have 8XP available to spend). Should I give them any promos now...well next turn (which would be useful if he attacks with his catapults)...or should I just wait until after he attacks with his catapults (or when I'm ready to attack) before I give anything any promotions? I'm assuming he won't even attempt to attack with any of his Macemen, even though there's probably a good chance one of his 8 Str Macemen could kill one of my 6 Str Longbows (which would be the likely defender)...but is it safe to assume he won't be attacking anytime soon? Unless he gets Knights in range, then he'll likely attack with those?

Crumbs, what does your stack look like? I'd have some anti-melee promotions on a couple of longbows, unless you have crossbows or maces in there too?

Look at my screenshot from a few turns ago. That shows my stack (it only has 1 additional catapult and one additional Longbow in it now) which is basically all Longbows and other weaker things. Sadly I already ended my turn, so I can't promote any of them now. So if he actually decides to attack with a Maceman or two next turn, I suppose he has decent odds of killing one or two of my Longbows. Next turn I'll get a couple LB's with anti-mele if he doesn't attack.
I can't build Crossbows yet because I don't have Iron available in the rest of my cities (though that will change next turn hopefully when my Fort-canal gets completed over by my iron city), and I only just started all the macemen builds this turn. So I don't have any Macemen yet. I suppose I'll whip them out in every possible city next turn, which will also mean I cancel the rest of my GPT trades to Nakor (or request one back from him for any I can't cancel yet) since this army in RMOG territory is expensive. I am currently 2nd in Power.

I would be wary of him attacking out and destroying your stack if you wait too long. That said, you can't rush an attack on a defended target. Honestly, if it gets too tough, just retreat: that's fine, nothing lost. As for promotions, use them when necessary to get odds defending (keep in mind collateral); otherwise, save to use for healing after battle. Do we know if he could have knights in the fog?
