You are right, we are human (But I get suspicious some of us might be Charrs). We have a different perspective on common courtesy and mutual respect. To me, both can be practiced even during, and after, a heated debate, and remain friendly. But to dwell on that would be off topic

My opinion of what's going on:

I don't agree with pointing new members to the website because that never gets updated. The last update to the RBGW site was in April '07. Before that it was just me updating the variant journals. No one uses the website. Several people will look at the wiki on occassion, but there is no link to the wiki on the GW page and there's pretty much no mention of it anywhere but the forums.

I want new members to sign up and post on the forums because I don't know any other reliable way of communicating with people.

If the officer list is such a great cause of drama, then to hell with it. People can be officers if they have an actual need to be one; that is: guesting people, regularly inviting people, organizing events, etc. If you don't actually do any of that then there's no reason to be an officer.

eye wuz gonna post sumthin but eye realized that wuld go against what eye said earlier and not respond and stay out of this discussion.

Then eye thot eye wuld respond to KoP's post in private. But that became 2 much work. So eye didn't.

Now eye decided 2 do sumthin annoying by typing like an idiot. It turns out this is harder than eye thot it wuld b.

U can drop me from the officer list, eye don't care. eye don't invite pple n e ways. But eye do guest my mules sometimes...hmmm. I'm still going 2 ally meets though, just 2 c whats goin on. Don't ask me 2 take notes if u cant make it. eye am not a scribe, secretary, or stenographer. n e ways...eye think i will pick up those lockpicks now.
