Just so you know, in your 1:14 post, the second picture has a typo in the link and won't display (/ at the start of the first "screenshot").

Whoops, thank for catching that. I type all the tags rather than using the interface so this happens sometimes.

No time for the full turn for another 6 hours or so. But I move the sentry. No AT workers are in sight, and the only 2 tiles that I can't check are not roaded yet so he'd need 4 workers there to re-road the copper this turn ... I have only seen 1 worker in AT's and 2 workers in AT's north since capturing/deleting 7-8 workers right after declaring war.

I should have gone to bed an hour ago, but this turn is worth reporting.

Here's the setup around Walleye (formerly MASH, renamed after the much sought-after fish ... has the Colossus + Shrine). I now own 2 shrines smile Mechanics Question: can I spread Buddhism to my cities while in Theocracy with Confu as my state religion?

I pillaged the roads SW and W of Walleye. I had vision on all the WHITE-dot tiles at some point during the turn and confirmed that no workers are present. The 2 RED-dot tiles could potentially have workers, although in that case AT would need a minimum of 3 workers (if he pre-roaded once last) turn or 4 since neither of those tiles have roads yet.

You'll notice also in this picture 2 more cities that I founded on that body of water (also named after fish). Those will be primarily naval bases in the future, maybe working some FIN coast as well. You'll also notice a galley ... wait, what? A galley?

I had a super abundance of worker labor after capturing 5 workers from AT. All my tiles in the region had already been improved so I sent them to pre-road towards this site with the idea of building a naval base. I also pre-chopped those forests while slow building the settler.

3 forests in the BFC give 90 hammers. I can get 2 ships out in 2 turns if I can scrape together 10 hammers. City center gets 2 hammers from PH, so 4 over 2 turns. I can get 2 hammers by working a forest hill the first turn (chopping it the 2nd turn). This then gives me time to finish a WS for the remaining 4 hammers on the 2nd turn:

The first ship is a galley. I loaded up 2 Grenadiers, and next turn I'll be able to attack either of AT's cities amphibiously. Problem is that AT's Trireme can sit 1SW of my galley on that GREEN indicator and block access to O.C. I'm hoping that AT will recognize this and place his trireme there rather than adding 2nd defender. My 2nd ship is a trireme which should get about 30-40% odds vs AT's defending on coast. I doubt I'll win that battle, but I should wound enough to give my galley a good chance at killing the trireme afterwards allowing me to move on and raze O.C. ... plan B is to just capture/raze that eastern city.

Here Pike completes the Trireme as planned using the new WS (that rice is actually given to SWAT now that the resistance is ended).

Here's another view at my northern attack. These units are all veterans of the SWAT assault who stayed behind to heal before splitting off this way. I looked through them and realized that I didn't have any unit left unpromoted except musket draftees with just 2XP. The only way to get a medic was to promote a Cannon to Drill > Medic. I decided that this was ok since the extra 10HP on all my grenadiers and 3 of my muskets was worth trading for Barrage 2. I suppose I'll never know if the difference mattered or was the "right" choice.

Yes.

Err... it all looks good. Sorry, I'm rather checked out at this point frown
Should we start putting EPs on others (you probably already are, I just can't think of anything)?
Do we have jails available?

I stopped EP spending against AT a turn or two before declaring war. I have about 1300 accumulated against Bigger now.

We have jail in Grand Slam and Volcano, building slowly in Mars.

An edit is like a P.S ... everyone reads it first, especially if just skimming.

EDIT: am i right?

Actually I tend to keep the vast majority of cities I take. Also games tend to end before I get the chance to take record numbers of cities. smile

I meant PB4 - didn't you go on a raze spree at the end?
