South down the coast?
Southeast, cutting into the heart of the continent?
Or south and then bend back east to uncover the land south of our capital?
I think I like option 2ish. I just want to pop as many huts as possible before an animal eats our scout.

Just in case you want to keep score (and why wouldn't you!), it's currently:
pindicator - 5 turns
scooter - 3 turns
I'm winning

Random question: which of you is the play by play, and which is the color guy? I'm assuming that Noble is the leggy sideline reporter.

Pindicator - Play-by-play
Scooter - Color
Noble - Leggy sideline reporter

So you're the guy in the truck? You must be getting the turducken ready.

Sounds like a plan.

I'll probably dedlurk this thread after PB8. If your luck from last game carries over, you'll probably run into Commy again.

Be careful around those athletes, Noble

Sorry for the continued thread jack, but the butt fumble is the funniest thing ever. I hadn't seen it in a little while, so thanks. You may want to just post that every time someone makes a play in this game.

Turn 008
Our work boat has finished and now we start on a worker. With the netted fishes next turn the worker will take 10 turns to build. From demos I can see that another team also went opening work boat and now have netted theirs: top crop yield is now at 7.
One thing I'm wondering about is where we put city #2. Right now I think the candidate spots are:
1) On the plains hill by the flood plain
2) S of the rice
3) NE of the rice
4) On the rice
It's hard to pick a sport around the rice since we don't have complete scouting information. But if our first warrior goes to pop the hut immediately then it will be able to give some info up north before the settler finishes. So right now I'm leaning towards #1 or #2 just because of the unknown up north.
I moved our scout SE-SE as that seemed best. Seems like we can go any number of directions next turn.
